B.Tech. in Computer Science and Design - Batch of 2028

Absolutely satisfied because of its faculty members and students.
Placements: Our course is new to the college so the first batch of my course is currently in third year so we don't have any final-year students. Faculty members actively share internship opportunities to students. Placement cell is active in our college and helps students to prepare.
Infrastructure: Since our course is new to the college the infrastructure is under development. Only a few months ago, we got our virtual reality lab. First years don't even have a permanent classroom. We have newly got a department computer lab. We have a good canteen. The food quantity is good and cheap too. Our college doesn't have a ground. Students organise sports programs and conduct them on a turf nearby.
Faculty: We are affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. Majority of the teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The minorities are also knowledgeable but they don't have an idea about how to teach. Overall, it is good. Our curriculum is relevant and it is newly modified. Semester exams are above average.
Other: I simply have dreams of becoming SC engineer. This course provided me with training on how to solve a problem. The programs are too basic in the lab and we don't get a real vision of the real programming world. Otherwise, the course is good. Students organized a lot of programs but support from staff is too poor.

For campus life, it is one of the best options for freshers.
Placements: Our computer science and design branch is a new course in even government colleges and our college. We are the 3rd batch of our course. There is a big hope of placements for our first graduation batch. There is no guranty of placements. ECE, AEI and other core branches have above-average packages.
Infrastructure: Our course doesn't have permanent faculty members. There are no permanent classes for students. Our seniors fight for these basic needs and after it even go to court. Now, they allowed 3 permanent faculty members for our branch. There is no boys' hostel in our college. Boys are living in private hostels with more than Rs. 5,000 per month fee. Girls stay in a government hostel. Its fee is around Rs. 3,500 with good rooms, food, and study facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified from IITs and other universities. Overall, the course curriculum is relevant and good. Semester exams are hard for first-semester students who have no idea. For others, there is no problem. There is no lab for the CSD course. Students are doing it privately by giving their own money.
Other: There are no permanent classes and lab facilities in our new course named CS and Design. Many campus programs are conducted. It will improve the overall connection between different branches and semester students.

For NITs you should have a percentile of around 97 percent in JEE mains for open category and for any engineering college in India for a open category student it is mandatory to get a percentile of over 90 to get into software based course in the college.
