My college through my lens.

Placements: In our course, we don't have campus placements available. However, once we graduate and start looking for jobs, it’s relatively easy to find suitable positions. During internships, we work part-time after college hours, which helps us earn at least 5,000 INR per month. A full-time job after a BDS degree can fetch a salary of INR 15,000 to 30,000 per month. I am very well satisfied with the knowledge and the skills provided.

Placements: Bachelor of dental surgery is a profession which is mainly about self employment. So, placements aren't the thing we look up to, we either set up a clinic or join a hospital. Private practice, research, collaboration clinical set up, community services are the roles served by the BDS professionals.

Review of Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences and Hospital.

Placements: We have to do internship in our college We have our own hospital where we have pretty good number of patients coming every day. The college will not give placements. The yearly package I got was 4.5 lakh. Since I'm a non-Karnataka, I've got more packages, but if you are from Karnataka, you might get it for less.
