An In-depth life of Lakshmibai college

Placements: Our college placement cell is not so active but still we do have different companies and social groups approaching us for volunteers and placement. As a coordinator of placement cell of our college known as wings we do try to get companies for students recently our principal signed MOU with some NGOs for students to explore, learn and earn.

Infrastructure: Lakshmibai college has a beautiful infrastructure the classrooms. Labs are likely to be well maintained but library is still needed to worked on, whereas the study rooms are very well maintained for students. We have two big grounds for sports and games as well.

Faculty: Our department teachers are very well qualified and knowledgeable. They not only teach us for the our curriculum to be completed but also give us knowledge of everyday life . The course of computer science is as same as B.sc in computer science for students to be ready for industry and pursue PhD and masters.

Other: I am a second year student, I like my course even more because of our department faculty. Whereas events, fest in our college are not on big stages as we don't get highlighted celebrity but still everyone together makes the fest enjoyable and fun. We usually enjoy our events and fest because everyone together is a part of it.

Review of Lakshmibai College, University of Delhi.

Placements: Placements are average in our college. Around 2-3% of students got placed in our course. Internships are also offered at this college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is clean. Wi-Fi is available in our college. The library is well-maintained. Decorum and discipline are excellent on our campus. We can also stay at PGs. The canteen is not expensive. Classrooms and laboratories are good. There are two playgrounds for sports.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. They also make study plans and teach us accordingly. The course curriculum is relevant but some subjects which provide us with more knowledge according to our interests.

Other: Many girls' students played at the national level in sports. Many activities are conducted in this college.

I am glad to be a part of this college, and I recommend it.

Placements: Around 96% of students got placed in our college. The highest package offered was 6.6 LPA, and the lowest package was 3.5 LPA. Dell, Infosys, Amazon, etc., are our recruiters. 80% of students got placed. One of our seniors went abroad for higher studies after passing out from this college.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available with high speed. Labs have AC and windows. The library is well managed, and the rooms are big. There is no hostel, which is a drawback. I'm glad that I'm in this college.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are very helpful. They motivate and help students with their studies. The exams are easy if we prepare well. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes students industry-ready.

Other: Many events are conducted here.

Satisfied with professors, infrastructure, facilities. But dissatisfied with placements.

Placements: 5 % of students were placed from this college. 5 LPA is the highest average package offered in this course. 3 LPA is the average package offered in this course and 2 LPA is the lowest average package offered in this course. 5 % of students got internship from this course.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, computer labs, library, classroom, projector, laptops all facilities are available. Yes, the quality of food is also good. The medical facility is available in this college. Sports are a plus point of this college. The best thing about this college in sports. Specially kabbadi.

Faculty: Professors are good and flexible with students. Yes, this is one of the best courses in this college. This is relevant and it makes the student industry-ready. After this course, students can choose any line related to computer software. Semester exams are all difficult. The pass percentage is 95%.

Other: I choose this course because I am interested in programming. The best thing is that this is from basic. I don't know. Events, fests and other activities are good.

It was a very good experience in our college.

Placements: 50% of students got placed in our course. 10,000-15,000 is the minimum salary offered. 50% of students got internships in our course. They did not give proper jobs for students as they offer jobs as per their requirements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, and facilities like wash rooms, water facilities, and medical facilities are good. Food in our college is very good. There is a very good Wi-Fi connection, and there are 4-5 labs in every department like computer, science etc.

Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful. They help us in every situation in our college. Our semester exams are good. Even in the covid situation, all the teachers are teaching very well. All assignments are very easy for students. Our principal is good, and the faculty are good too. It's difficult to give exams online. We faced many issues while submitting and downloading exam papers.

Other: I chose this course because I want to become a technical engineer and also a good lecturer. That's why I chose this course. It has a good playground. The crowd is not high. We don't like our rooms. Gokul is the best. We did not enjoy our college life properly due to covid.
