Good crowd, but the infrastructure is fine.

Placements: Pretty fine placements, with many companies coming in. My batchmates are also doing internships. Apart from that, the top roles can be Analyst, Project Intern, Risk Manager, Research Associate, Finance Manager, etc. The placement process also sees good recruitment.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure isn't very good and can be improved. Water coolers need improvement, and the auditorium is still under construction. The main gate and ACs are also not there, but that's fine. Apart from that, the canteen can be improved, and especially the sports facilities need improvement.

Faculty: Faculty can teach better, and the semester exams are tough. The curriculum can also be more inclusive. Internals are conducted, but that is fine. Apart from that, the syllabus can be made more engaging and inclusive of diverse subjects, not just domain-specific ones.

I would say it is a college full of opportunities.

Placements: Our college offers many roles, such as data analyst, risk management, financial analyst, and roles in investment banking. Apart from these corporate roles, there are many civil servants (IAS and IPS) from our college. Academically, there are also many researchers.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure problems exist in our college, from hostels to classrooms. There was also a case six years ago where a classroom roof fell, but thankfully, no one was there. You have to manage with this infrastructure and try to make the most of it.

Faculty: Faculty members vary from department to department, but mostly, they are very good, and you can cope with them if you are an academic person. If you want to pursue further research, coming to this college at the undergraduate level can help you because the curriculum is very good.

I am not satisfied with the infrastructure, but I am happy with the prestige.

Placements: Placements for my course are around 10 LPA. So, I feel it is a good package. The top 3 also have Eco Hons placements around this figure. I have also heard that good companies like Deloitte and PwC recruit students, which gives long-term scope for the students.

Infrastructure: I am not residing in the hostel. However, I have heard that the infrastructure is not really good. The college is also really small. The main building infrastructure is of subpar quality. I have not had a very good experience after coming here. However, I hope it might change with time.

Faculty: I really like faculty, curriculum, and exams. But it is my first semester, so I don't really know much. However, till now, the experience has been really smooth for me. Faculty is very flexible with the students and gives them ample time to complete their work.

Honest review of Kirori Mal College. Please don't judge it only by its NIRF ranking.

Placements: The placement cell is not very active and mostly provides placements to B.Com. (Hons.) and B.A. Economics (Hons.) students. However, students have to work on their individual skills to get a decent placement and not rely on the placement cell. The courses are outdated, so students have to work on their own.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very bad, with sanitation issues in the washrooms. There is no working Wi-Fi across the campus, even in the library and computer lab. The classrooms are old, and the sports ground is bad and is not maintained. No sports facilities are available at all. Nothing is good except the crowd.

Faculty: Do not expect much from the college. Teachers are qualified but very rude. They can shout at you whenever you ask a question. Do not expect much from this college. Do not choose it only because of its NIRF ranking, as it is far below Ramjas College. Kindly do not join if you want to do something in your career.

Other: The crowd is good, but the infrastructure is very bad, and the college is very small.

Moderately satisfied, with good faculty and above-average placements.

Placements: The placements in my specific course, i.e., B.A. Economics Honors, are pretty good compared to other courses offered in my college. Many companies like D. E. Shaw, Deloitte, Accenture, ZS Associates, L.E.K. Capability Network, and many others come to KMC to recruit students. The average package ranges between 7–8 LPA, with the highest going up to 27–28 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really poor. There is a lack of rooms, and the ones assigned to our course are very small considering the number of students in the course. The college hostel has around 180 seats for students from all three years and all the courses offered by the college, which is very low for a top college.

Faculty: Faculty for my course is really good in terms of teaching style and experience, except for one or two professors who are not very cooperative. Overall, the teaching staff is very good. The exams for my course are comparatively tougher, as mathematics and statistics are involved in all the core subjects, for which you need to study very hard to get good grades.

Other: As I had studied Economics in school, I developed an interest in the subject and wanted to learn more about it in detail and at a higher level. That's why I chose Economics Honors. The best thing about my course is the number of career opportunities you get after completing it. The thing I'd like to see improved in my course is how difficult it really is. It overwhelms students and puts a lot of pressure on them, so that is one thing that needs to be made easier.

KMC is the best part of my life.

Placements: Looking back, the degree gave me a lot of flexibility. People from my batch went towards consulting, finance, analytics, research, and higher studies, rather than following one fixed career path. KMC's placement drive also had a good recruiter base. But honestly, you had to build your profile alongside the degree. Just having Economics on your CV wasn't enough.

Infrastructure: The campus had its old-DU charm, but infrastructure was never the strongest part of the experience. The library, classrooms, and basic computer facilities were enough for academics. Some older blocks clearly needed better upkeep. What I valued more was having places like Ashoka Lawn to sit around, work with friends, and spend time between classes.

Faculty: The course was academically demanding, especially once the quantitative papers started getting serious. But that was also what made it worthwhile. I found the faculty quite strong overall. Several professors were genuinely helpful when you made the effort to approach them. The curriculum gave me a solid base for both higher studies and analytical careers. Exams weren't impossible, but you definitely couldn't leave everything for the last week.

Other: The academic societies were great. Ecosoc was the oldest society in the entire DU, and being a core member of that was such an honor. Go Ecosoc.

KMC still has the charm.

Placements: KMC offers reasonable placement opportunities, with students getting exposure to both on-campus and off-campus opportunities. Companies recruit from different industries, especially in areas such as business and other corporate roles. College also has a placement cell that coordinates recruitment activities.

Infrastructure: The college has a well-established campus with facilities. It includes a library, computer facilities, laboratories, and adequate sports infrastructure. There are several extracurricular activities and societies. Some parts of the campus are older and could be maintained better, but the overall environment is functional.

Final Selection
