A good college for girls who are seeking for not so crowded campus and good faculty.
Placements: Around 35-40 students have recently got placement on an average of 10-20 lac package per annum as per top firms like ICICI and Tata Power, and CHEGG India. Before that, more than 250 students have been placed from the college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, especially the new buildings that have been made. The Wi-Fi facility is available in the college, which is very helpful for the students in the college. There is a library in the college providing various books which is related to the semester exam, so that it could be helpful for students who can't buy them.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They provide guidance to the student if needed. Their notes, which are made during their lecture, are very helpful during exams. They are serious about the studies for the exam and are very supportive and act as a guiding light. Apart from this, the faculty of Political Science in this college is very good.
Other: The Political Science honors course is a great choice, it provides a number of great opportunities ahead.

Very poor facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: No information related to recruitment is available. No top roles are available. Very few students get recruitment and internships from our courses. There are a number of students pursuing this course, but only a few get better opportunities.
Infrastructure: In our college condition of washrooms is very poor. There is no access to Wi-Fi. Maintenance of classrooms is poor, and sometimes the windows are broken, sometimes the ceilings are broken. There are dogs all over the campus. There is no availability of clean drinking water, and there is a shortage of space in the library.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good, but at the same time, some take the course and students very slightly. Semester exams are easy and can be passed after studying, not very hard to pass, and someone who studies seriously can get good percentage.
Other: I want to study Political Science, that’s why I pursue this course. I want to improve the recruitment facilities for this course. All other things are okay about this course, and students will find it interesting.

3.4
Lakshmibai College, Delhi University.
Placements: For Political Science (Hons.), placements are honestly very weak. The placement cell exists, but most serious offers go to commerce or professional course students. Humanities students rarely get direct corporate placements. Most students either prepare for UPSC, SSC, banking, pursue LL.B., or plan for a master’s degree. If someone joins expecting guaranteed placements after B.A. Political Science, they will be disappointed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent but clearly not modern. The new building is better maintained, but the old building still has issues, especially the washrooms. Classrooms are basic, benches, fans, whiteboards, sometimes projectors. Nothing advanced. Wi-Fi works in some areas but is unreliable. The library is actually one of the stronger points for Political Science students. The canteen is affordable but average in quality. Overall, it is manageable, not impressive.
Faculty: Faculty quality is mixed. Some professors are genuinely supportive and academically strong, while others just complete the syllabus without much engagement. A lot of learning depends on self-study. Exams are not impossible, but scoring high requires strong answer-writing skills and regular preparation. Checking can feel strict, and internal marks sometimes depend heavily on attendance and assignments.

Absolutely love the college vibe. Really good infrastructure. Campus is very big.
Placements: There is a placement cell in the college and they are very helpful. They provide skill learning centres for the students to learn skills. The average placement is 3 to 6 LPA. Students who have skills, knowledge, and experience do get offers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is huge and great, and the classes are clean. The old building is average and the new one is great. The grounds are very big and there are 3 of them. The college is actually very big in terms of land. There are almost 20 sports like cricket, wrestling, archery, etc.
Faculty: Faculty is a little bit average. The curriculum is great and it is very easy. The exams are done very efficiently. Everything works systematically. The staff is a little bit strict. The pass percentage is 60 percent overall and 40 percent for each subject. Attendance is very important.
Other: It feels very comfortable and safe in the college and the environment is so good. It feels so good in the college. People say girls are competing and all, but in reality it is very engaging and relaxing. It is very empowering also.

Lakshmibai College, University of Delhi.
Placements: For Political Science (Hons.), placements are honestly very limited. There is a placement cell, but humanities students rarely get strong corporate offers directly through campus. Most students either prepare for UPSC and other government exams, pursue LL.B., or go for master’s degrees. Internships are mostly self-arranged. If your goal is a high-paying corporate job immediately after graduation, this course and college will not guarantee that.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is mixed. The new building is decent and better maintained, but the old building still needs improvement, especially the washrooms. Classrooms are simple, benches, fans, boards, and sometimes projectors. Nothing fancy. Wi-Fi works, but not consistently everywhere. The library is one of the better parts of the college for humanities students. The canteen is average and affordable. Overall, the infrastructure is manageable but not impressive.
Faculty: Faculty quality varies. Some teachers are genuinely dedicated and knowledgeable, while others stick strictly to the syllabus without much engagement. You will have to do a lot of self-study. Exams are moderate, but checking can be strict. Writing skills matter a lot. Simply reading once before exams is not enough if you want high marks.

Never feels like an off-campus college.
Placements: There are more than fifty percent of students are placed in my college in a very good position, and the number of students that are placed is more than two fifty from my department. Placement is not very, very good, much higher, but it is average, I can say average as compared to many other colleges of DU.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is so good at my college. Beautiful buildings, beautiful park, beautiful garden, beautiful sports ground, an echo garden, a beautiful park in a beautiful canteen, and a very beautiful and wide area. A very beautiful state with a lot of beautiful trees, a very beautiful Gokul, which is also Britain, Mera Gaon, so it has a very beautiful environment. All the facilities are very, very good, which are needed in a good college.
Faculty: Teachers are very, very helpful and well-qualified. They provide us with good study material, and the teachers also do very well. They also take us on different trips regarding our syllabus, and understand us more. Teachers take us on different educational tours to provide as a very practical knowledge, and also a very good experience from there.
Other: I chose this course because I have my interests in political Science. One thing that I would like to improve about my college and about my course is that more and more practical knowledge providing us more and more practical knowledge, such as debating discussions, public debates, and parliamentary debates.

Best college with the best faculty, and peaceful environment.
Placements: There are many students, more than 150 students, who got internships from my course. There are 30 to 60% internships placed from our college, and more than 250 students got top roles offered from our course. More than 30% of students get placed, with Commerce and Economics students having a higher placement percentage. Although the specific numbers vary every year, the opportunities are improving with the placement cell becoming active. It is good if you are studying well, so you can achieve it.
Infrastructure: There are good connections to Wi-Fi in my college. There is also a good infrastructure of classrooms, a very focused environment in our labs, and also the library, and whichever book we want, we can issue from the library, and all are available. A very good, fresh structure library, sanitation, and everything is very good. The reading room is well-made for students who can study properly. Different departments have different activities in their rooms for students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very provides every material to study. This course curriculum is very relevant. My semester exams are, we can say, moderate to difficult, and it is also good, I will give it a moderate level.
Other: I chose political science mainly because of my interest. One thing that I want to improve in my course is that there should be more discussion and debate orientation among students. If you talk about the event and campus crowd, they are the best in our college. Extra-curricular activities are the best in my course, which is political science.

Excellent faculty and good infrastructure (except the old building and washrooms).
Placements: There are around 65 students in the course, divided into two sections. I do not have clear information about the placement percentage, the highest, the lowest, and the average packages, as placements are limited and not very transparent for our course. However, the college provides internship opportunities in institutions like the Centre for Tribal Studies, Sewa Bharti, and the Centre for Democratic and Pluralism. Many students participate in these internships. The roles mainly include research assistance, article review, report writing, data collection, and fieldwork, which help students gain practical exposure aligned with departmental interests.
Infrastructure: The college provides clean and hygienic infrastructure with well-ventilated classrooms equipped with good-quality chairs, tables, whiteboards, and blackboards. The campus environment is neat and eco-friendly. A special area named Gokulu, which includes a duck pond, lily plants, mushroom farming, and fish tanks. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, though connectivity issues exist in some areas. There is also an old building that is older and less well-maintained compared to newer buildings but still functional. The canteen offers hygienic and affordable food, and a medical room is available. Sports facilities are reported to be good. But the washrooms are not well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers in my department are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and very supportive. Most of them go beyond their duties to help students, take feedback seriously, and continuously improve their teaching methods. Though there are one or two teachers who put in minimal effort and the overall teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum prescribed by the university is largely relevant and more than 80% aligns with what I expected from this field. It helps build a strong foundation and supports industry readiness.
Other: Various events, seminars, and workshops are regularly organized by different committees and departments, which keep the campus active throughout the year. Our annual fest is well-organized and enjoyable though it may not be as highly hyped as fests of some North Campus colleges of the University of Delhi. The campus crowd is diverse and engaging, creating a positive environment. Students actively participate in sports, NSS, NCC, cultural activities, and academic seminars. The campus surroundings are decent with good connectivity. Scholarships are also available for deserving and eligible students encouraging academic and extracurricular excellence.
