B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology - Batch of 2024
2.0
No campus life, a small college, but a good area.
Placements: There's no placement available in the course I selected. The maximum you can do is ask for guidance from teachers. But, it is a bit obvious too that B.A. psychology won't get many places. You need to have a master's degree to even call yourself a psychologist. So getting a placement was not my expectation, so it did not matter to me.
Infrastructure: There are two buildings of which one is an auditorium. There's not enough space and the classes are average. The bathrooms need to be cleaned. The desks are really old. But one thing about the college is that it is peaceful. The area around is much safer than other colleges since it is in Central Delhi plus there are courts. Also, CP is near to it to make up for no campus life.
Faculty: The syllabus is fine. Materials and the books recommended are really nice. But teachers are not up to the point. They just want to complete the course and show us PPTs that's it. One or two teachers are fine. They need to have more active and participating teachers who engage students and provide them with real-life information.
Other: There's literally no campus life. The college is really small. But if you just need the degree without any drama, you can maintain a good reputation with teachers which is fine.

Survival, all girls, unsure of placements, good infrastructure.
Placements: Unsure about the placements, but a good scope when you graduate. And if you manage to maintain the grades, you may get an internship! The curriculum is way too good, and professors give curriculum activities and assignments. It offers a variety of courses.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi may or may not work sometimes. Classrooms are vast enough to fill up the chaos of the students. The library has a variety of books, and the water coolers are also good. There is a ground to sit, and the attendance criteria and assignments are constant.
Faculty: Teachers and professors are quite helpful, and a few are a little strict. The curriculum is fine enough to survive with! It offers a variety of courses like B.A., B.Com., B.Sc. and some discontinued courses can also continue. Semesters are quite challenging.
Other: Fests and cultural programs are there.

Labs are well-equipped.
Placements: The placement cell of my college is very good. They provide us with many new internships for every course available in our college. Many placements are from B.A. Computer Science in top MNCs and companies. The placement cell offers career guidance and counseling services to help students understand their strengths and interests, align their skills with industry requirements, and make informed career choices.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped, Wi-Fi is available to all college students and staff, and many classrooms have AC. The library is very resourceful. The college canteen offers a variety of food and beverages at affordable prices. It serves as a popular spot for students to relax and socialize between classes.
Faculty: My teachers are kind and humble and also very welcoming. But sometimes, they face difficulties in semesters. In addition to academic teaching, faculty members play a significant role in student support and development. The faculty is also involved in community service and outreach programs, aligning with the college's mission to develop socially responsible and ethical individuals.

Absolutely satisfied with the psychology faculty.
Placements: The placement drive in our college is extremely good. We get the highest package around 6 Lacs and the lowest at 1 Lacs per year. Even the internship opportunity in psychology is good. The top recruiting companies in our college are Deloitte, HDFC Bank, etc. At least 50 percent of students are placed in our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at our college is good. The washrooms are much better and more hygienic as compared to other colleges. The hostel life is extremely fascinating and fun. The canteen food is yummy and hygienic. Medical facilities are also extremely good.
Faculty: The faculty of the psychology department is so experienced and professional. The professors are so pathetic and understanding. Their teaching style is innovative and unique. Through PPTS and various other methods, they explain the topic so well. It is so helpful.

Review of Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi.
Placements: In our college, placements are not good in our course. Placements for B.Com and statistics honors courses are good. Our college organises an internship and placement fair.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. There are new buildings. The hostel facilities are not available. The quality of food is fine and affordable. The college is near Connaught Place, so it's the right place to hang out.
Faculty: Teachers are good and supportive. Exam schedules are given at least two months in advance. The course curriculum is relevant. The college library is good.
Other: You will find students from different states, specifically from the Sikh community, as they have reservations at this college.

If you don't have any other choice of colleges then this is also overall not a bad choice.
Placements: Placement percentage of my batch is pretty low. Because most of the students of philosophy pursue higher studies in this field or different fields altogether. The highest package offered is of 4 lacs and the lowest could be up to 1 lakh but still my course is provided with various paid and unpaid internships. Top recruiting companies are deloitte, Genpact ect. 40 percent of student got internships. Roles of content writer, researchers, management etc. is offered to students.
Infrastructure: First of all hostel facility is not available in our college. The quality of food the canteen have is pretty decent and their prices are also not so high they are affordable. They have a variety of food available. There is medical room in our college too. My college is fully equipped with facility of lifts and Wi-Fi. College is accessible to people with special abilities. Our library also consists of a huge number of books. Classrooms also has great infrastructure.
Faculty: In my course the teachers are really co-operative and helpful. They are really qualified and some of them are also alumni of the college itself. They are working here with an experience of 2-20 years. The course curriculum is relevant for students to work for their future and see the world from a really different perspective. Though the placement percentage is low still the students who study philosophy are ready for the world to make a change. The semester exams are not difficult they are mostly easy to crack. Most of the questions in our course are repeated in exam. The pass percentage is 85%.
Other: Recently college has made a progress by accredited with B+ position by NAAC. This is for their development infrastructure and cleanliness. The connectivity of college is really good. It has ITO metro station to reach and bus stops too. The heart of Delhi cannaught place is also near to college.

Good college for academic purposes.
Placements: Psychology doesn't have many placements after a bachelor's. Although our college provides placement in HR. The packages range from Rs: 6000 to Rs:30000 per month. Almost all companies come including the popular ones like Microsoft, Flipkart, etc. I don't think anyone in our batch directly took admission from the college placement cell as most students will be continuing with post-graduation.
Infrastructure: The labs are great, canteen food is good. The medical room is there but I have rarely seen it functional. The college is under renovation for the last year. Earlier the washrooms weren't good at all but the new ones are pretty good. A hostel will also be built this year making it good for students.
Faculty: The department of psychology is pretty good as the teachers love to teach. There's might be a lot of stress though because teachers take very regular assignments and tests. The course is relevant as it provides a theoretical foundation. Semester exams are not tough as subjective, long answer question format is followed. Passing marks are 33% but the grading system is followed by the University of Delhi.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty members, department and crowd.
Placements: There were 74 students in our batch. I don't know much about recruitment and placements as I am still in my 2nd year. However, our college has good tie-ups with reputed companies. A lot of students have been part of many internships programmes that are being held often. I don't know much about top recruiting companies, but the placements and internship programmes are worth it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average here, but the department is the best of DU. The library is huge and contains a lot of quality books. Labs are huge and well maintained. Classrooms have digital boards. The canteen is quite huge and can accommodate a huge crowd. In the canteen, things are very much affordable.
Faculty: Faculty members here are amazing. It is an amazing course and has great importance nowadays. Teachers are well informed about the subject and have immense knowledge about the same. I have attended exams online. Exams of the semester are easy and relevant. I am not much aware of the pass percentage.
Other: I have always been interested in psychology, and I wanted to explore, so I chose this course. The crowd is also amazing.
