Journey of my LL.B. in Law Center 2, Delhi University.
Placements: Law Center 2 provides placement opportunities, but only those who score above 60% are selected by the companies. Therefore, very few people get the chance to be selected for placements. Very few companies visit our college and select only 5 to 6 students, which motivates others.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Law Center 2 is good. They have air conditioning and a very good library. However, the Wi-Fi does not work well. The canteen is located at the back of the college. Nearby, the arts faculty is attached outside, where there are various food courts. If anyone wants to relax, they can go to the arts faculty grounds. The natural scenery is really nice.
Faculty: The faculty is very professional and friendly. We study through the case materials provided. Exams are conducted every 4 months. Many students fail because the faculty does not give high marks; 60% is the highest. In exams, the questions come from the case materials provided on the website.
Other: Doing my LL.B. from Delhi University was my dream. The campus crowd is really good; we get to meet people from various backgrounds and states.

I really like society structure that helps students learn how to organise events.
Placements: It had a strong reputation for its campus placement opportunities in 6 and 7 semesters. Students were eligible to sit in the placements. Institutes provided placement training and mock interview preparation to the students recently. The highest package was 42 LPA, and the average package was 7 LPA offered by the institutes. Atleast 70% of students got placed through on-campus drive.
Infrastructure: My overall experience was totally amazing because of the events of the college like Induction for freshers for international competitions, moot court, and other competitions like debate, quizzes, etc. Overall, college gives vast exposure to students from different states. SSC judges and top advocates come to judges competitions so in that way too.
Faculty: Faculty members and students relations were very good. Faculty members were supportive and eager to teach. They had a passion for teaching and growth of students. Every doubt was cleared and you were encouraged to practice things that were really required for placements rather than college academics. While I didn't like some faculty members and I could not include their names. But many students disliked them because they were the most disciplined ones in the college.

Amazing college in the heart of Delhi. North campus vibes are unmatchable.
Placements: Our college didn't provide much opportunity for placement. Students usually get internships from college, but placements are usually not provided by college. Internships are also usually unpaid, I haven't had the chance to do internship yet, it's so hard to get.
Infrastructure: College building was built 8 years ago. It has 4 lifts and a 3-story building. Washrooms are clean, with 2 washrooms on each floor, and each washroom has 10 stalls with proper water facilities. Mess and canteen are also good. However, we don't have hostel facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly, cooperative, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is perfect and understandable. College offers extracurricular activities like the Moot Court Society, International Law Society, and many others, providing students with opportunities to explore and gain diverse experiences. Semester exams are tough. Pass percentage is 45%.
Other: I chose LL.B. because I want to appear for the JAG exam. The best thing about LL.B. is the knowledge we get after learning law is unmatchable.

Faculty of law Law centre II
Placements: A total of 1000 students were accepted in my college. We have an active placement cell here regularly providing internship and job opportunities to the students of law center two we also have a mood court society in the college which helps in polishing the skills of the students here in our faculty.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is really good. It's modern and advanced has big classrooms moved court and a nice big hall where all of us can gather for some events or social gatherings. Talking about the facilities. They are very experienced and helpful. We also have a canteen and health centre in the basement.
Faculty: The teachers here are really helpful, qualified and knowledgeable talking about the teaching quality. It's really good very interactive sessions take place and it's three year course where we have to pass six semesters and a total of 30 subjects. Five subjects each semester.
Other: I was admitted to the 2022 to 2025 batch. A total of 3000 students have been admitted to this batch and all of the three centers of Delhi University faculty of Law. The crowd is amazing. Most of the times, many events and fest take place campus as well connected and we get to interact with a lot of people on a day-to-day basis.

Experienced and Knowledgeable Faculty
Placements: When it comes to corporate job placements, NLUs generally rank higher than DU Faculty of Law. However, DU still provides placement opportunities through dedicated societies focused on placement efforts, thanks to which many students secure jobs.
Infrastructure: There isn’t a separate hostel for the college; instead, it’s a shared university hostel. The infrastructure is solid, though the food quality could be better compared to private colleges. Separate rooms are provided, and boys and girls share a combined hostel. Hostel charges are nominal, typically around INR 500, covering food and other activities.
Faculty: The course curriculum is well-structured to offer a practical understanding of legal concepts, designed by highly experienced faculty members and legal professionals with real-world experience. Faculty members are highly educated and help students navigate complex legal jargon and technical aspects of the course.

My experience in Law Faculty DU LC 2.
Placements: Law centre 2 has around 900 students in the LL.B. course and around 30% get placements in law firms and companies like live law. The centre has a special society called legal aids cell for placements and internship related roles. The students either intern as a legal drafter or a legal researcher in these companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in LC 2 is quite decent. We have a Wi-Fi service for students and we get a unique id and password for the same. The library is a fine one with wide range of books to choose from. The classrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are clean and tidy. Even the hostels are nice with good food and that too in a budget.
Faculty: One of the best things about this college is the faculty. The teachers are very experienced and they know what they are doing. They share their exceptional knowledge in the classroom with examples for various cases. The exams are moderate tough and manageable with a little extra studying towards the end. Thought I feel the marking scheme is bit strict.
Other: The fests and events should never be missed. LC 2 has a number of societies like moot court society, legal aid society which helps the students secure internships and also on placements. The centre also organises various cultural events from time to time for the all round development.
