CUET PG Application Form 2024 (Soon): Registration Dates, Fee, Documents Required & Other Details

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the Central Universities in order to apply and appear for CUET PG 2024. The expected eligibility criteria for CUET PG 2024 are as follows:

• For PG: For appearing in the CUET (PG) 2024, there is no age limit for the candidates. Candidates who have passed the bachelor degree/equivalent examination or appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (PG) 2024 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria of the University in which they are desirous of taking admission.

  Note-

• For admission in Universities through CUET (PG)-2024, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc. of the
  respective University shall be applicable.
•  As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs.
• Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University they are applying to.
• Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing pass marks at the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Programme unless he/she fulfils the Programme
  wise eligibility conditions of the University they are applying to.
• For PhD: Candidates applying for a PhD programme must have a master’s degree from a recognised university or institute to apply for admission in research programmes.

Candidates has to follow the steps given below to apply for CUET PG 2024.

Step 1: Registration Form

Register for the Online Application Form and note down the system-generated Application Number. The candidate should supply the required details while filling the Online Application Form and is also required to create PASSWORD and choose Security Question and enter his/her Answer. After successful submission of the personal details, an Application number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and will also be required for all future reference/correspondence.

On sucessful registration, Candidates must enter the following details to complete the CUET PG application form:

• Candidate Name

• Father’s Name

• Mother’s Name

• Guardian’s Name

• Date of Birth from the drop-down box

• Gender

• Nationality

• Identity Type (Select a valid Photo Identity Card type)

• Identity Card Number

• Present and Permanent Address

• Email ID

• Mobile Number and Alternate Contact Number

• Choose Password (8-13 characters with one special character, one uppercase character, one lowercase character and one numeric character)

• Select a Security Question and Answer

• Enter Security Pin

• Verify the submitted details

• Enter OTP sent on Mobile Number

This application number will also be used/ referred for both Sessions of CUET (PG) 2023. For subsequent logins, the candidate will be able to login directly with the respective system-generated Application Number and created Password. 

Step 2: Application Form

The Candidates can log in with the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password for completing the Application Form including filling up of personal details, applying for the Paper, choosing the Examination Cities, providing the details of Educational Qualifications, and uploading the images and documents (if any).

Below are the personal details to be filled in the application form:

• Confirmation of PwBD category

• Selecting reserved categories

• Parent’s Qualification

• Parent’s Occupation

• Annual Family Income

• Domicile State

• Place of Residence

• Medium of Studying in Qualifying Education

• Other Quota & Category Information and Confirmation such as BPL, Kashmiri Migrant, Ward of Defence Personnel/Ex-Serviceman, Claim for NCC Quota, Claim for Sports Quota, Ward of University Employee

Upload Scanned Images of Candidate‟s Photograph and Signature.
i. The recent photograph should be either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.
ii. Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
iii. The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).
iv. The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible)
[Note: The Candidate has to upload only his/her own photograph and signature as mentioned above (and not of anybody else) in a correct/proper manner.]

In case, it is found at any time in the future that the Candidate has used/uploaded the photograph and signature of someone else in his/her Application Form/Admit Card, or he/she has tampered his/her Admit Card/Result/Score Card, these acts of the candidate shall be treated as Unfair Means (UFM) Practices and he/she shall be subject to actions as contemplated under the provisions of the Information Bulletin relating to Unfair Means Practices.

Step 3: Fee Payment

After completing Step 1 and Step 2, the candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee. The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator.
The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee, then the candidate may have to approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway (in the helpline number and e-mail given in the Information Bulletin) for ensuring the successful payment or for obtaining the refund of duplicate / multiple payments.
 Download, save and print a copy of the Confirmation Page of the Application Form (which would be
downloadable only after successful remittance of fee) for future reference.
 All 3 Steps can be done together or at separate timings.

For each additional paper, candidates will have to pay the following application fees.

Only those candidates who have submitted the application form and paid the requisite application fee will be eligible to make the changes in the application form. 

If candidates made any mistake in CUET PG 2024 registration forms, they can correct it in the correction window. Here we have provided steps to correct the application form:

• Click on "Sign In" tab or application form correction link.

• Then click on the login button & enter user id and password.

•  After login you can change specific details in CUET PG 2024 Application form.

•  Save the changes and take the printout of the form for future uses.

Editable and Non Editable fields in CUET PG 2024 Application Form

After filling out the CUET PG 2024 application form, candidates are advised to print or save the application form as a pdf for future use. The saved application form will have the candidate's CUET PG application number, which they will need at the time of downloading the CUET PG Admit card.

Once you have submitted your application form, you can save it so that you can track your application status online. This will allow you to see if your application has been received, if your payment has been processed, and if you have been shortlisted for the entrance exam.

Candidates are also advised to save the log in credentials details of the account they have created on CUET PG 2024 log in portal. As these login credentials will be needed at every further stage like release of admit card, provisional asnwer key, response sheet, result of the candidate. All these events will be published in candidate's register acoount.
