CUET PG 2026 Application Form Correction

The CUET PG 2026 Application Correction Window was opened by the National Testing Agency for making changes to the registration form that applicants incorrectly filled in the application form. CUET PG application correction process 2026 started on January 28, 2026, 10 AM, and the last date for making corrections was January 30, 2026, up to 11:50 pm. Although the original schedule for the CUET PG Application Correction was from January 18 to 20, 2026, it was postponed twice by the National Testing Agency. 

First, it was postponed to January 23 to January 25, and further till January 28 to 30, 2026. NTA had extended the CUET PG 2026 application form submission last date from January 20 to January 23, 2026. Accordingly, the CUET PG application correction window was postponed. 

NTA stated the fields that can be edited and non-editable fields in the CUET PG Application Form Correction 2026. Candidates could edit the CUET PG application form within the stipulated time mentioned by the exam officials. Before applying to the application process, CUET PG aspirants are advised to check the CUET PG 2026 eligibility criteria, such as age limit, course enrollment-specific, nationality, and other important minimal eligibility criteria. The examination will be held for the graduates to get enrolled for various master's degrees, like MSc, MAMBAMTech, etc., in various central universities or participating universities under the CUET PG 2026 exam.

Q:   When did the CUET PG 2026 application process start?
A:

NTA had started the CUET PG 2026 application process on December 14, 2025, at the official website for admissions to the master's degree programmes offered at various participating institutes.

CUET PG registration process 2026 was completely online, and candidates could fill out the application form by creating a registered account at the official website. The last date for filling out the CUET PG application form 2026 was January 23, 2026. Originally, the last date of application was January 14, 2026, which was extended till January 20 and January 23. The application fee had to be paid by January 25, 11.50 PM.

Q:   Is there any fee for making corrections in CUET PG application form 2026?
A:

No, candidates did not need to pay any fees for making corrections in the CUET PG application form. However, if any candidate changed his/her category from SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD to the unreserved category, they need to pay the application correction fees. For making any other changes, candidates did not have to pay any fees. NTA did not refund the fee for the reduction of test papers or due to a change in category. 

Q:   How to select a university programme while filling out CUET PG application form?
A:

One of the important stages of filling out CUET PG 2026 application form is selection of university programme list. Candidates are advised to select their desired university and programme offered through it wisely, otherwise it may create hindrances in the CUET PG 2026 counselling process.

Step 1: After adding the exam centre city preferences, candidates will then have to select the University/Programme selection.

Step 2: In this section, candidates are required to select the university name first and then select the programme name. Likewise, candidates can select up to four universities and its allied programmes offered. After adding the university programme choices, save the details and move on to the next sections.

Step 3: In this section, candidates need to add the test details. Add the test paper subject code from the drop-down options mentioned in the window. After adding all the respective test paper codes of the university programme list which was selected in the previous step, save the details.

CUET PG 2026 Application Correction Window: How to Modify Details

Only those candidates who have submitted the application form and paid the requisite application fee will be eligible to make changes in the application form. If candidates make any mistakes in the CUET PG 2026 registration forms, they can correct them in the correction window. Here we have provided steps to correct the application form:

  • Click on "Sign In" tab or application form correction link.

  • Then click on the login button & enter User ID and password.

  •  After login you can change specific details in CUET PG 2026 Application form.

  •  Save the changes and take the printout of the form for future uses.

CUET PG 2026 Form Correction: Any one of the fields is Editable

The following section brings the list of fields, out of which only one could be edited:

CUET PG 2026 Application Correction Window: Miscellaneous Things to Remember

Candidates needed to remember the following things:

  • The option to edit the Subject / Test / Programme / Course will continue to be available tillthe correction period. 
  • If there is an impact on the fee, then the additional fee will be charged as applicable. 
  • Correction in these fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee, if any. 
  • No fee will be refunded for the reduction of Test Papers.
  • The only one-time correction will be allowed to the candidate, i.e. once the corrections are done and submitted, the form shall be frozen. 

What After CUET PG 2026 Application Process

After filling out the CUET PG 2026 application form, candidates are advised to print or save the application form as a pdf for future use. The saved application form will have the candidate's CUET PG application number, which they will need at the time of downloading the CUET PG Admit Card.

Once you have submitted your application form, you can save it so that you can track your application status online. This will allow you to see if your application has been received, if your payment has been processed, and if you have been shortlisted for the entrance exam.

Candidates are also advised to save the login credentials details of the account they have created on the CUET PG 2026 login portal. As these login credentials will be needed at every further stage, like the release of the admit card, provisional answer key, response sheet, and result of the candidate. All these events will be published in the candidate's registered account. 

CUET PG 2026 Exam Structure

 As per the information brochure, the CUET PG 2026 exam pattern is based on only domain knowledge questions. There will be only 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) about the particular course to which the candidate has applied. The domain-specific questions will now be there to test the candidate's analytical and cognitive approach towards the applied course in the CUET PG 2026 examination. Language papers will be in the concerned language, except linguistics, which would be in English.

The exam will be conducted for a total of 157 papers or subjects from Science, MTech, Humanities, Language, Acharya and other professional courses. Over 190 universities will accept the CUET PG 2026 scores for admission to the postgraduate or master's degree courses.

Q:   How many subjects can be opted in CUET PG while filling the application form?
A:

CUET PG 2026 examination will be scheduled in March 2026. Aspirants preparing for the CUET PG exam could fill the online application form from December 14 to January 23, 2026. While filling up the CUET PG online application form, test taker can select only one subject in one slot of the examination day. However, from the previous year academic year, they were able to choose a maximum of 20 test paper codes in all.

Before choosing multiple subjects for the examination, candidates are advised to check the minimum education eligibility criteria for the particular course they have applied for. Also, check the university-specific subject criteria for the subject a candidate wants to appear for.

CUET PG application form 2026 was released on December 14, 2025, to provide admissions to postgraduate degree programs like MA, MSc, MCom, MTech, MFA, and other professional degrees like MBA, BEd, LLB, and LLM courses. The last date was January 23, 2026.

Only one application had to be submitted by a candidate. Under no circumstances will candidates be allowed to fill more than one Application Form. 

Q:   How many exam cities can be selected while filling up the CUET PG application form?
A:

NTA released the CUET PG 2026 information brochure and exam notification on December 14, 2025. Candidates could select four city choices while filling the CUET PG 2026 application form. The city choices had to be entered in order of preference within their present and permanent address. Based on this, NTA will allot the exam centre. NTA reserves the right to allot any exam city to the candidates that is not among the candidates' selected choices.
