LM Thapar School of Management Course Admission 2027: Application Process, Eligibility, Courses & Fee

LM Thapar School of Management admission process is based on many factors such as task orientation & problem-solving approach, teamwork, initiative, leadership potential, etc. At the initial stage, candidates shortlisted on entrance basis through their result in national level entrance exams which include CUET-UG, SAT & IPMAT for UG level and CAT, XAT, GMAT and CMAT for flagship MBA course.

In instances where a candidate has failed to appear in these exams, they will need to apply for either TIPMAT for UG level or TMAT for MBA admission. For PhD admission, candidates are called for LMTSM PhD Entrance Test. Check out an explanation of process behind LMTSN admission below:

STEP 1: Entrance Exam Registration

Before applying for any course, candidates must appear in one of its accepted entrance exams. For national level exams, candidates need to go on their specific online portal and register to appear. For institute level exams, candidates need to go on official website of Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, except for LMTSM PhD Entrance Test whose registration is conducted on its own website. After candidates have received their entrance exam scorecards, they can begin applying for their preferred LM Thapar course.

STEP 2: LM Thapar School of Management Application Process

• Go on LMTSM's website. (https://lmtsm.thapar.edu/).
• Click on Apply Now / Course Application tab followed by register on admission microsite.
• Fill registration form and login.
• Complete application form and attach all necessary documents.
• Pay LM Thapar application fees of INR 1,200.

STEP 3: Selection Process

Once applications have been submitted for LM Thapar School of Management admission, candidates will be shortlisted for selection process based on entrance exam results. Candidates who are shortlisted are called for a personal interview round for further evaluation. After this, a combined score which includes academic scores in Class 10th and 12th, UG level graduation score (MBA), extra curricular engagements (IPM), work experience (MBA), entrance exam and personal interview performance. STEP 4: Confirmation of Admission

Candidates chosen after all selection rounds are offered provisional admission letters. Once received, candidates need to pay admission fees for confirming their LMTSM admission. This fees is part of first installment of LM Thapar School of Management fees which has been tabulated below:

After this fees is paid, document verification process begins following which, a candidate's admission is confirmed.

LM Thapar School of Management Fee Refund Policy

If any student decides to withdraw their admission from any course, LMTSM follows the refund policy laid down by Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. This policy is based on AICTE norms which lay down the following refund rules:

• If admission is cancelled before applications are closed, all fees paid (except application fees) will be refunded after deduction of INR 1,000.
• If admission is cancelled after applications have been closed, no refunds except security deposit are provided. INR 1,000 will be deducted from any amount before refund is credited.
