The experience I have with LPU is different.
Placements: The placement cell in the LPU CSE is really good. The placenta cells in other branches are not that good. All of the hype the college is getting is on a few courses like CSE, Agri and B.Arch only, for which placements are good. But all the others are somewhat trying to converge on the CSE.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at LPU is good. The library, Wi-Fi, and labs are good, but we should utilise the same or else there is no benefit. Hostel Wi-Fi, mess food and canteen are good, but we cannot get non-vegetarian inside the college. The sports facility and the university hospital work really well on the campus.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are top level but the majority of them are not qualified. They are qualified academically but they are not qualified to teach. They just have the education but the teaching is below average. The course curriculum is good but they are not creating a good awareness of the subject.
Other: I still believe that electronics are the future. Whatever is possible in software is possible with the best hardware. The software boom is happening because of hardware advancements.

Daryl, the eligibility for Diploma is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th (with Mathematics, Science and English) or equivalent.
