Overall, it's a good college and can help in your development.
Placements: Almost 10-20% of the students were properly placed from our batch and stream and at an average package of 3.5 LPA. Accenture was the top recruiting company at that time. Roles offered were of assistant and software engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available for the course was not fully sufficient as it had a lack of some instruments and facilities which are required for the research part, and biotechnology is a more research-oriented field. I didn't reside in the hostel but what I can tell is that in hostels (specifically boys hostel) there was ragging, and many times there was a fight among hostelers and day scholars from some sources.
Faculty: Faculty members were knowledgeable and qualified but not helpful what we can expect. There was a biased mindset for students. Undoubtedly, they teach good quality but lack of some facilities, there is a lack of proper exposure. Also, for course relevancy, it's somewhat relevant but it's not as much as it can be expected to make the student industry-ready. Its exams difficulty was different at all times so, I am unable to comment on that but there should be a proper evaluation system, and also the pass percentage is good.

This is an ideal institute for pursuing engineering.
Placements: There are only a few placements in our college. Both education and knowledge provided in the college are excellent. This is a government autonomous college, so only a few companies visited our college, but these companies are multinational companies. Less number of private and small companies visited the college to offer placements. The best option is to continue your study in future. For that, you have to clear GATE exam, and it is very easy to crack.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. All the labs have company instruments, chemicals, and safety instruments. Teachers properly guide the students in providing practical knowledge. There are medical facilities in our college, and there is also a medical dispensary. Sports and games in the college are very good. Students always play games. MITS sports team always takes part in many competitions and wins.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good. They are friendly so that we can share every problem with them, and they love to solve every problem of students. They always help us in our studies and other things. Our course curriculum is flexible, so it helps us to study everything.
Other: Many events, seminars and many other things are held in our college.
