I am dissatisfied with my college because it doesn't provide what they show on website.
Placements: In my running course, no students are placed due to a lack of knowledge because the education provided by professors is not enough for students to crack the interviews and coding grounds. Some students are placed in our branch who pass this year with an average package of 3-4 LPA, but still, many students are not placed.
Infrastructure: In our college hostel, there are no facilities for students, but Wi-Fi and a library are provided for students. The quality of the hostel and mess food is very poor and sometimes bad. There is bad food provided in the mess or canteen. But all these things are found in every college, not only in this college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and also knowledgeable, but they do not have good teaching skills. They do not give the best concepts for students to understand. The course curriculum is the worst ever of all other colleges. This course doesn't prepare students to fulfill the industry-ready requirements, even not qualify them for the exams like competitive.
Other: This course is better for future scope, and also, this time industries are recently working on artificial intelligence and robotics for tier profit. At this time, this course is better for everyone. Fest and events are good enough in this college, but not more like all other colleges. There is no crowdfunding for this college because students are studying at home more than in college.

My journey :- The college life saga
Placements: our college provide decent placement compare to other state government colleges .around 65% of students of batch 2025 are placed till now and highest package is 11 lpa and average package is 5.3 LPA. and around 40-50% students are get internship at stipend around Rs 4000-7000.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is quite good and most faculties are done their PHD in their respective domain .faculties are very supportive .labs are well updates and have wifi. and classrooms also are in pretty good condition.we have one big library in campus .hostels are average and hostel's mess food is below average .
Faculty: Yes ,faculties are very supportive and quite helpful .mostly faculties have PHD in their respective domain . their teaching quality are quite good ,they teaches students by give real world example of industry and keep students well updated. Each semester we have two mid Semesters exam and one End semester exam which is moderate in term of difficulty ,Around 80% students passed exam.
Other: I choose this college due to my jee mains rank . the best things about my course "AI and robotics" is we get knowledge of both hardware and software . TAP cell really need to improve and they have 75% attendance criteria . our college organized ethnic day event at february and tulsi mahosav event and many club like gdsc ,gfg, codewar, and many other clubs organized there small events weekly basis. campus are 3 km from gwalior railway station and 4 km from gwalior airport. category students get mp post matric scholarchip .

MITS Gwalior Review - Academics, Social Life, and Infrastructure.
Placements: Around 50 to 60% of students get placed at our college. The highest package in 2024 is 25 lacs from Google, and the average package is around 6 LPA. Top recruiters are Tech Mahindra, TCS, and Infosys. In 2022, the highest package was 1 crore from Prime Lab, New York, for one student.
Infrastructure: MITS has hostels for girls from 1st to 4th year and for 1st-year boys only. There is a new and very good building for AI-related courses with high-speed internet. On our campus, there is a football ground, a cricket ground, and a badminton court, etc. Overall, the campus is decent.
Faculty: At MITS Gwalior, the faculty is very good and helpful, especially the HOD of the AIR department. In our college, exams are conducted in three phases (Minor 1, Minor 2, and final). The difficulty level of exams is moderate to hard. Overall, the college is decent for GATE preparation.
Other: I am from Artificial intelligence and Robotics branch. In my batch there is 78 students and some are really intelligent and most of the students are poor in studies.

Mission to Innovate Technology for Society.
Placements: In college, my seniors got placements in many companies and the government IT sector. My seniors received packages of 10 Lacs per annum, and some students even got 1 Cr in 2021 approximately. Many companies reached out during the placement sessions. Our college has the best placement record in Gwalior.
Infrastructure: In my college, there are many departments, such as Artificial Intelligence, IT, CSE, Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical. The college has several seminar halls for curricular activities and classrooms. The library is available but doesn't provide many facilities. Our hostel has good infrastructure and facilities, but the mess food is very bad. The college offers a canteen and medical facilities. We also participate in national and district-level championships in sports and games.
Faculty: In the college, various faculty members are knowledgeable, helpful, and qualified. My course includes GATE subjects as well. The college semester exams are difficult, and they provide two sets for the mid-semester exam along with proficiency tests.
Other: I chose my course because I am interested in it. The college conducts many events and fests, and there is a lively crowd. The college also provides scholarships and extracurricular activities.

Average college for IT and CSE branch only.
Placements: About 90% of students are placed; the highest package is 1 crore. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, and Flipkart. 90% of students got internships; the top role in my college is technical; the placement percentage of mechanical is not good.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in my college are good. Wi-Fi is not available, labs are not well maintained, the classroom is good, the library is good, the lab maintenance is not good, but it's working on computers that are not updated, and the infrastructure of my college is okay.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified in the course. The curriculum is relevant. The connection between faculty members and students is not good; it depends upon teachers behavior, and it is also important in other examinations.
Other: I chose it because the placement of IT and CSE in this college is better and the course is about providing some technical knowledge. Fest in my college is not well.

My experience as the very first batch of AI and robotics in MITS.
Placements: I am in the first ever batch of my course, and I will be graduating in 2024. My placements are currently going on; 70–80 percent of students get placed in my college, and of course, we only have one TNP officer who brings some companies into our college. The highest package offered is around INR 800,000. The average package is around INR 5 LPA, and the lowest is around INR 3 LPA. There are not many internship opportunities at this college, and the roles offered are mostly in the software domain.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the main highlights of this course. The classrooms are well built with all modern facilities, including AC and Wi-Fi. The labs are equipped with all the required machines and equipment used for the course. The central library has all the books you will ever need, and you can easily issue them for the semester using the library card issued by the college. There is a hostel facility at the college for only first-year students. The hostel was built recently with good facilities and infrastructure. There is a medical room for students in case of an emergency. The sports facilities on campus are excellent, with almost all equipment and grounds available.
Faculty: The course is well planned and structured, with all the relevant subjects. The faculty members and teachers teaching the course are well qualified and very helpful with all the industry knowledge and fluency in the subjects. The course makes us industry-ready. The exams in the college are easy to pass, and mostly 95 percent of students pass the exams with ease.
Other: I chose this course. This is because AI is one of the most emerging fields these days. The best thing about this course is that it is well structured with great teachers. One thing I wish could be improved is the placement. There are educational and cultural events on campus. The campus is well connected with the city, and the railway station is just 2km away. Students can avail of many government scholarships as per their eligibility.

I am disappointed with the opening of eight new branches within the same infrastructure.
Placements: The placement scenario is average. The average placement for 2021 is about 4.5 LPA. Mainly, mass recruitment companies come here. Amazon also offers a salary package of 16 LPA to only 1 or 2 students or nil in 2021. Some companies also offer a salary package of LPA to 10 LPA, but they select only 10 to 50 students.
Infrastructure: The college is only 45 acres. Around 20% to 25% of the land is an abandoned area. About 8 new branches have been opened in the last 2 years on the same campus. The hostel is available only for first-year boys and first, and second-year girls. Overall, it has a very small campus. Free Wi-Fi is available only in a few labs. Most of the classrooms are old-fashioned.
Faculty: The quality of faculty members depends on your branch. As in CS IT, many assistant professors take your classes. They are inexperienced, but faculty members are experienced in mechanical and civil engineering. The curriculum is great, and the courses are also updated accordingly.
Other: Our branch is AI+robotics. It is a part of the IT department. It is started in 2020. I chose this course because I was interested in it and because it is booming also. Many other branches have been opened in the last two years, which makes you frustrated that there is so much competition. The college has created eight new branches in two years, and the old branches will compete with each other to get placement opportunities from nearly the same number of companies.

All is good Faculty and Exam System.
Placements: All is good Placements at MITS Gwalior are average to good. Many students get placed in IT, core and service-based companies. The training and placement cell provides guidance, skill development sessions and internships, helping students become job-ready.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure at MITS Gwalior is good with modern labs, SMART classrooms and a well-stocked central library. Hostel facilities are satisfactory, providing clean rooms, basic amenities, regular mess food and a safe campus environment for students good .
Faculty: Good faculty in College Faculty at MITS Gwalior is experienced and supportive, focusing on concept clarity and practical learning. The curriculum is RGPV based, industry-oriented and updated. Exams are semester-wise with internal assessment and end-semester exams.
Other: All are good .
