The best companies like IBM, Wipro, TCS, CTS, Infosys, HCL, Tech Mahindra etc hire a lot of students (that is why we called those companies as bulk companies).

Most of the companies will recruit students from CS and IT departments, and only a few mechanical companies will visit here for campus recruitment.

M.E. in Instrumentation Engineering (Industrial Automation) - Batch of 2025

About Anna University college ME course admission.
Placements: Approximately 75% of our group is placed. Average salary is 5 LPA, the lowest is 3.2 LPA, and the highest package is 10.5 LPA. ABB, Siemens, Honeywell, and L&T are among the companies that hire students. Approximately 65% of students secured internships at automation startups, Reliance, and BHEL. Automation specialists, process control engineers, and instrumentation engineers are common positions.
Infrastructure: Although the labs have good sensors, PLC kits, calibration tools, and some of the equipment is antiquated. The library has few new journals but good reference books. The mess food is monotonous, but the hostel rooms are clean. The mess is better than the canteen snacks. The Wi-Fi is passable. The sports facilities are modest but well-equipped.
Faculty: While some of the faculty lack industry exposure, others are informed and helpful during projects. Although the curriculum provides a good job of covering the essentials, it needs more IoT and contemporary automation tools. Exams are fair, with a moderate pass rate of about 83%.

About MIT, where Abdul Kalam studied.
Placements: Up to 80 percent of students were placed in core companies like Accenture, Amazon, DE Shaw, BNY Mellon, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo. Only a small number of students get internships in top companies, the percentage is up to 10 or 15. The top roles offered are software engineer roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The mess is also good, but the food in the mess is average. Labs are very good, and classrooms are very good in the college. The food in both the mess and canteen is the same. Medical facilities are also good. We have a health center working 24/7 in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful sometimes, but the marks given are only a little less, and that is only based on the staff's mood. They don't teach much; they only tell us to explore on our own. They are knowledgeable, but they hesitate to teach students and help them to gain knowledge.
Other: There are many extracurricular activities, like clubs and events, that are very enjoyable.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of the facilities.
Placements: There are about 65% of the students who are placed in my course. The highest package is 10 LPA, the average package is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 lacs. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, and Capgemini. The top role offered is software developer.
Infrastructure: The washrooms are very hygienic and clean. There is no proper water supply in the taps and lush. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is acceptable. The classrooms and labs are average. The hostel rooms are comfortable. A well-stocked library is available.
Faculty: The teachers are very rude and aggressive. The teaching quality is good, but they are not very helpful. Our course is not curriculum-relevant because these types of activities are conducted only happens in starting of the semester. The semester exams are difficult.

I'm very excited to join this college and college is very much better than what I expected.
Placements: About 80% of students got placed during 2023-2024. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bridgestone, CEAT Tyres, and Yokohama Tyres. About 95% of students got internships in various companies in India and foreign. Top roles offered in our course are team leader and junior engineer.
Infrastructure: Our department has lift facility and many classrooms with free air ventilation. There is also a conference hall available. Our department also has a library for the well-being of students. Our department has many lab facilities, for example, CAD lab, rubber processing lab, plastics processing lab, etc. Our college has Wi-Fi facilities like play area for students, library, and large mess for boys and girls.
Faculty: Teachers here in our department are very helpful to students and are very well-qualified. They are very well knowledgeable about this course. Course curriculum provided by our department is very related to the expectations of the rubber industry. The difficulty of semester exams ranges from moderate to high.
Other: I chose this course because of the scope of the course and college is quite famous also. It is very unique than other courses.

Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University is the best unversity.
Placements: The placement offers to students are good. The average salary package offered is 15 LPA. Students are getting good job opportunities. Top MNC companies visited our college, such as TCS, Microsoft, HCL, Infotech, Infosys, and many more.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are provided with a bed, an almirah to keep clothes, a study table, and a chair. All the windows are covered with mosquito nets. The food is not up to expectations of northern people. Every month, we have to register for the mess. There are 10 mess halls combined in total, and students can choose any mess hall based on availability.

A student's detailed perspective and overview of the Madras Institute of Technology.
Placements: Students with a minimum CGPA of 7.2 are eligible for all the listed companies. The recruiting companies are Amazon, Visa, Adobe, Microsoft, and Bank of America. The roles offered are software developer and full-stack developer. The highest package is 30-40 LPA, and the lowest package is 4-8 LPA. Students with a CGPA above 8.5 got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not excellent in my department, it is only average. Restrooms are not clean enough for emergency purposes. It is not like what is expected from private colleges. Hostel facilities are also average, only the food is not good for the cost. The hostel infrastructure is also average.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-experienced in their subjects. The teaching method is also good to understand, except for some. The course curriculum is very relevant to real-world applications, with practical lab experiments and readings for the industry. Semester exams in this college are quite difficult because there are no leaked question papers. The passing percentage is 45 out of 100.
