The Central Sector Scheme is available to students of MIT Chennai who have scored at least 80 percent in Class 12 and have a family income below INR 6 lakh per year. Eligible students must apply in their first year, maintain at least 75 percent attendance, and demonstrate good conduct. The scholarship offers INR 10,000 annually and cannot be combined with other financial aid schemes.
The fee structure is different for different courses based on the stream and duration of the courses. Additional on fees like that of hostels can also be included in the yearly fee structure if one opts for it.
