The placements are quite good here even though the package at which the visiting companies took the students is low but success ratio is good indeed.

The infrastructure is of a school type.
Placements: 70-80 percent of students got placed through college placements, and the remaining students may get placed through off-campus. The average package offered in the college ranges from 7-8 LPA. The highest package offered through campus is 26 LPA, according to my knowledge. The lowest package offered is 4 LPA by TCS. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Infosys, ZS Associates, Zia Semiconductor, Wipro, HCL, and Accenture. In past years, Amazon also visited the college. The HSBC company visited the college this year.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are okay. Wi-Fi is available only in the library for students. The canteen is overused because of just 1 canteen. It has school-type benches. I am not in a hostel, but my friends say the mess food is okay, but rooms are small. Medical facilities are good. Sports and games are just for fun, as we can play for 1 hour. The ground is small.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and PhD holders. They have theoretical knowledge, but practical or industrial knowledge might be lacking. The CSE course curriculum is slightly similar, but we have to develop skills by ourselves because it is more theoretical. It is helpful if we are preparing for GATE CSE or ISRO CSE. Semester exams are easy if we start studying 20 days before. The Pass percentage is more than 95 percent. In internal marks, out of 40, we can get more than 32 marks easily.
Other: I chose MSIT because it is the nearest to my home and the best, as per my knowledge. If they provide a LeetCode competition, then it will be helpful. Events, fests, campus, etc., are just words here.

Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology is a good college.
Placements: It is good in placement if you are from CSC or the IT department. I am not sure about the electrical department, but it has good companies that offer good packages for both on-campus and off-campus. The placement is up tomorrow, it is good if it is good and placement for the B.Tech courses.
Infrastructure: The Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology definitely lacks in the infrastructure of hostels and labs, library, and classrooms because of its small size. Since it is located in prime Janakpuri, it does not have much space to offer. The Wi-Fi is usually slow, only a few classrooms have AC.
Faculty: The teachers are dedicated to teaching and teach well. The exams are usually up to mark, and study material is provided through book banks. The college definitely makes sure to teach you well.

Experience of a freshman.
Placements: 75% students would have been placed with packages ranging from 3 LPA to 35 LPA. I'm unsure about the rest. There's a variety of companies coming to the campus. Also, a lot of students achieve off-campus placements and internships because of their own skills.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not provided in the college except in the library. There is also a lack of mobile signal inside the campus due to its proximity to Tihar jail. Classrooms are outdated. The mess is like any other tier 2/3 college in India, and the hostel rooms are livable.
Faculty: Faculty is qualified on paper, but not so good at actually teaching. We're taught a few subjects in the first year that would be useless in our field. Course curricula are outdated and need some changes. Exams aren't very difficult and are quite easy to pass.
Other: I chose it because Computer Science is one of the most wanted degrees. The fest is not that great, but it can be enjoyable with a good friend group. It's easy to make friends here, but a lot of uncivilised and rowdy students can also be found here.

Review of Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology.
Placements: In our college, students are mandated to average their CGPA above 8.0 because students are not eligible to sit for the placement drive if their CGPA is less than 8.0. Microsoft, ION, TCS, etc. All companies visit our college for the placement drive.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not bad but is good because the college building is like a horror thriller since the building is very old. The interior is well maintained in our college. Overall reviews for infrastructure are the best. No Wi-Fi is provided in classes except in labs. The library is available.
Faculty: The faculty is very friendly with students and always there for any type of help. They help in getting placements. The third year is normally complex because it is all based on technical study related to software and hardware, including coding, machine learning, and all that.

Bad infrastructure, average placements (non dependable)
Placements: Not very nice placements. Cannot be depended upon. Better work yourself for placement and jobs, as the placements shown by the college on their site are not real. One must work on their own for better jobs. Work and get placed off campus. As per 2025.
Infrastructure: Bad infrastructure. The building itself looks weird. No AC in classrooms. You get absolutely cooked in summers, and for hostel students it's even worse. Light cuts off at night for several hours in peak summer. Washrooms are not good.
Faculty: The teachers are generally nice. Not much problem with the faculty. If you attend regularly, you might actually understand the subject; else study online. The semester exams are okay. Boards kind of checking and you can score in theory. Internals are still in the hands of your teacher.

A concise view of our college.
Placements: I am in my second year right now, and I have concerns. I have realized that placements are just average here, as are many of the students. Around 70 percent goes with mass recruiters at a package of 3.75 LPA. Although the packages are typically lower, as I have heard about the recession of 2021 (which crashed the job markets), our college is doing well.
Infrastructure: This college is not as good as the main campus. Although there are many labs, they are not optimal, as the computers here are really very slow, and the interior is not too good either. And to make everything worse, the classes aren't air-conditioned either, which sometimes makes it so difficult.
Faculty: The teachers here are really very kind and supportive, with good teaching skills. They cover the syllabus very finely, but talk about the skills. Everyone should do it on their own because colleges don't give you skills. You will learn to manage time here as you will frequently face the exams here, i.e., in a sem (6 months), around (1.5 -2 months is off), in the remaining 4 months you will cover practical files, assignments, mid sem 1, mid sem 2, internal practical, external practical, and end sem.
Other: It is a fine college, as the crowd here is really good. Unlike many colleges, here the students are studious and calm.

The admission process for the BTech course at MSIT and JIMS Greater Noida is almost similar. Both colleges accept relevant entrance examination scores for admission to Bachelor of Technology courses. Moreover, both institutes accept valid scores from JEE Mains/IPU CET for admission to BTech courses.
