MSIT is a good college in terms of private colleges.
Placements: In the 2025 batch, around 382 students are placed. 382 students got 428 offers. Around 70 students got a more than 9 LPA package. Major recruiters are Infosys, ION, ZS, etc. The highest package is 36 LPA for ECE. ION gave 17.3 LPA to 20 students. ZS gave 13.65 LPA to 32 students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi doesn’t work properly. Labs are very well-equipped, in good condition, and are AC-equipped. Classrooms have only fans. Hostel rooms from the 2nd year onwards are allotted on the basis of college attendance and CGPA. The canteen is available, but a variety of food is not available.
Faculty: Teachers are very well qualified and supportive. There is a 75% attendance criterion, but you will be allowed to give the exam at 60% attendance. The course is not so hard. It is easy to score a 7.5+ GPA. Marks are 40 internal and 60 external. Book Bank issues books for the complete semester, so there is no need to reissue books. The institute provides industrial visits to students, but only for students whose attendance is above 75%.
Other: College is good for academics and placement. Class timings are bad: 8 AM to 2:30 PM. Prefer to choose shift 2, which starts at 10 AM, if you travel quite a distance. No scholarship from the institute, but available at the university level. Good connectivity by bus and metro.

MSIT is good for academics and placements only, but not more than that.
Placements: There are 90+ internship opportunities, with some companies like Samsung, ION Group, etc. There is a cap for placement. For the 2025 batch, the criteria are 8 CGPA. The highest Package is 36 LPA. Approximately 70 students get package offers of 10 LPA or 10+ LPA. Around 380 students get placed. Infosys is the major recruiter.
Infrastructure: The mess and canteen are very average, but other IPU colleges have better canteens. Never try paneer from the college canteen. The labs are very well-equipped and AC-enabled. But can't say the same for the classroom. The classrooms have a projector, but don't have AC. Wi-Fi doesn't work properly, and there is no sports equipment available.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and supportive. But remember that 75% attendance is necessary. The syllabus was last updated in 2021. In the 1st year, students study under the Applied Science department, which is common for all, and from the 2nd year onwards, they move to their respective departments. Books are issued for the whole semester, so no need to reissue books. The passing percentage is 95%. End term exams are conducted like board exams, and we are allotted an exam center for final exams.
Other: The college has good placement records, and the teachers are supportive. The university and the MSIT college have a good reputation. The college only focuses on academics, and the college timing is like school, 8 AM to 2:30 PM nonstop, except 12:00 to 12:30 PM lunch break. The college has great connectivity with the metro and bus services. Scholarships are provided only by the university or another group, but there are no scholarships from the college. The surroundings are great, Janakpuri is a nice area, but there is no hangout place.

College is focused on academics and placements, offering a better return on investment.
Placements: From a total of approximately 550 students, 383 Are placed. The highest number of placed students Are from CSE, but percentage-wise, IT had a higher placement rate. This year, 55 offers were higher than 10 LPA, with the rest being at or below 10 LPA. The highest offer is 36 LPA for an ECE student, while the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. A major MNC, Samsung, provided internships for 10 students. The most important factor for placement is the CGPA criteria; for the 2025 batch, an 8 CGPA is required, which is considered easy to score.
Infrastructure: There are no ACs in classrooms; however, ACs are properly working in the labs. The labs are good and fully functional with all the necessary equipment. The college has a very good library. They provide academic books for the whole semester until the exams are over, so there is no need to reissue the books from the library every month. No proper sports facilities are available. The college is very strict about the 75% attendance criterion, and if you opt for the hostel and your attendance is very low, they will remove you from the hostel.
Faculty: MSIT is at the top for academic skills. The teachers are very well-qualified, supportive, and experienced. They always try to teach at a higher level, similar to what is needed for the GATE exam. We can say that the college strictly focuses on academics and placements. Summer training is provided to students by the college. The exams are not too hard, and very few students have backlogs. 98% of students passed the end-term exam. The marking scheme is 40 (internal) + 60 (external/theory exam), and you only need 40 out of 100 to pass. Just like a board exam, students get an exam center at other IPU colleges for their end-term exams.
Other: MSIT has very good placement records and also focuses on industry-level knowledge. The college is now increasing its seats. There are 200 students in CSE for the morning shift and 60 students in the evening shift. Additionally, more students are admitted to the college via lateral entry, with around 65 students in each class, and there are a total of 5 sections of CSE. The university provides scholarships for EWS students, but there is no scholarship at the college level. A sports day is organized as per university guidelines. The college has great connectivity with the metro and buses. The most important thing is regarding the timing: MSIT Shift 1 starts at 8 AM and Shift 2 at 10 AM.

Maharaja Surajmal is very good college, and you can also join if you seek good ROI and environment.
Placements: The placements are good here, I mean, they are above average and good. The highest package this year is about 45 LPA from Capgemini. Big companies include Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, and many others. Basically, the placements are good, and you can join here.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good. Wi-Fi connectivity is okay, and the labs are fully equipped, functional, and air-conditioned. The LAN connection is also good. The mess food is decent, and the canteen food is pretty good at very reasonable prices.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful and experienced. Every teacher has at least an experience of about 7 to 10 years, which is very good. The semester exams are pretty difficult, but the cool thing is that the pass percentage is very good, which is about 91% passing.

MSIT- The college for your future.
Placements: The college placement rate has always been good. The highest package went to 1.7 crore and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The average package is around 9-10 LPA. Companies come with a variety of roles including both technical and non-technical roles. The major recruiting companies are ZS Associates, ION, Google, and Microsoft.
Infrastructure: There is a Wi-Fi connectivity all over the campus. Classrooms have AC and a good infrastructure. Several indoor games are available to play. There is a huge ground to play sports like football and cricket. The canteen serves almost every item. The mess food is genuinely better.
Faculty: Teachers genuinely help the students in the exams. They are highly qualified. They have different teaching methods which helps us to understand better. The syllabus after the new education policy has helped secure good internships and offers for the new batch of students. The semester exams are a little difficult but can be cracked with 1 week of preparation.

MSIT comes under GGSIP University therefore it gives admission on the basis of an entrance test conducted by IPU, so it does not offer admission on the basis of JEE Mains marks but it offers admission on the basis of an exam conducted by IPU known as IPUCET(CODE 131) for B.Tech.

Admission in MSIT is on the basis of IPUCET, not on the basis of JEE Mains. The rank secured in IPUCET determines that you will get admission in this institution or not.
