It is an old renowned college lagging a bit in terms of infrastructure and other facilities.
Placements: The placements at MPCT were majorly focused on computer science students. Companies like Genpact, Kabra Bearings, and some other small companies visited the campus. Out of the total batch of 240, some 40 students got placed through campus. The highest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA by Genpact. The average salary package offered was around 1.5 LPA. The lowest salary pacakge offered was 1.2 LPA. Summer training needed to be done on their own, and no assistance was provided by this college. Placements roles were majorly aligned to computer science and involved graduate engineer trainee, process associate, etc.
Infrastructure: The classrooms were having coolers and fans installed, but there was no air-conditioner. Engineering laboratories were equipped well with basic machinery and the workshop was also having enough tools like lathe, etc. A hostel building was available, and a canteen was also there with basic food items like samosa, cold drink, water, beverages. The sports ground was available for cricket, football, etc. The games room was there with a carrom board, chess, etc.
Faculty: The exam papers were set from RGPV, Bhopal. Professors here were knowledgeable and covered almost the entire course curriculum. The exam structure was good with mid-terms occurring after 3 months of the semester. The course for BE was aligned with RGPV and was therefore appropriate for gaining technical knowledge.
Other: In this college, annual day events were held, besides that, sports day was also celebrated.

This college can be considered as the last option for B.E.
Placements: In our batch, less than 305 students got placed in TCS only. Many other companies came but hired for a profile of sales which was not related to engineering anyhow. The highest salary package offered was by TCS of 3.3 LPA. Internships were not provided.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was average. Wi-Fi was not available, and the library was good. We had a good playground, and the campus was green. The canteen was not up to expectations. It can change by changing the vendor. Sports facilities were not available. I was a day scholar, so I cannot tell about the hostel, but the rooms were average, it was not very good. It was a clean and green campus.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was good. Teachers were ready to clear doubts and HODs were supportive. The course curriculum is at par with industry and makes students industry-ready. Internships are like a cherry on the cake. Labs impart practical knowledge.

Overall, I am satisfied with my memories and efforts, and the faculty members were good.
Placements: It is very difficult for the students to get placed. Very few companies visit the campus, and most of them are from the IT sector only. Some companies or startups select the students but neglect or procrastinate during the date of joining. So, the college is good but don't expect that you will get placed after the completion of the course. Students have to study and work hard to get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good. Currently, many facilities are provided which were not available earlier. Wi-Fi enabled labs are available. The course-related books are available in the library. RSDM hospital belongs to the college. So, need not worry about the first-aid facilities as they are available all the time. Management needs to be improved. Sports are not available.
Faculty: Proficient faculty members with good experience are available in the college. Courses offered and the seats available in each course are as follows, in BE, the
mechanical engineering course has 90 seats, computer science engineering has 60 seats, civil engineering has 60 seats, electrical engineering has 60 seats, electronics and communication engineering has 120 seats and information technology has 60 seats. Other courses like B.Sc Nursing, BDS,
BBA, BCA and MBA are also offered in the college.
Other: Events like fresher's and farewell parties are conducted every year. Annual sports meet was conducted earlier but not now. The campus crowd varies, but it may be around 1000-1200. Scholarships are provided only by the government. No extracurricular activities are conducted as of now.

Not good enough in placements and not good faculty to teach students very well.
Placements: Very poor placement of my batch and my seniors also because in my batch, only one student got placed in TCS only and nobody got selected in placements because in the college, students did not speak English very effectively so they didn't understand about what they did and the location, then how to give an answer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okay. There is no Wi-Fi but they have labs but in labs, no much practical is done, only theory is done and reading. In the library, no more useful books are available and no more games. Classrooms are good and medical facilities are available because there is a dental college on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are not good enough. 2 or 3 teachers are good who read confidently and clearly. A simple method is used which the student cannot understand well in English. The student-faculty ratio is about 40:1. There are some teachers are doing M.Tech in our college and also teaching in the college.
Other: Events are organised and connectivity is also good. Scholarships are provided from time to time.

Other: Our college is best in Kanpur belt among all the engineering colleges. It provides quality education which prepares us to do difficult jobs easily. Discipline is also good. Infrastructure is awesome having various facilities for hostlers like gymnasium, playgrounds, hospital, etc. An extra effort is done by the college administration by providing personality development classes so that students can meet the criteria for the multinational companies.
One better thing is that college administration didn't charge any late fees amount to the fees defaulters, we can submit our fees even after a year or two years. It is really a good point in the favor of financial weak students like me. The atmosphere is good for study and labs are well maintained too. Only the missing thing is that there are very little numbers of companies visiting campus for recruitment of the mechanical students.
