Our college is a great institute with amazing placements.
Placements: Around 95 recruiters participate in placements. Around 28% offer Technology. Media and telecommunication were the top domains of the Drive. The average salary package is around 22 LPA and the highest salary package is around 40 LPA. Companies such as Airtel, Dell, Xiaomi, & ICICI Bank were the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: There are various festivals, events, competitions, and seminars organised for students welfare. Quality content is provided by the library with more than 50,000 books and 15,000 E-Journals. Clubs and Communities are there for well-being. College provided separate hostels for both girls and boys with necessities. Rooms are spacious with attached bathrooms. Food provided by the hostel mess is good with many food options.
Faculty: All the faculty members were Ph.D. holders and had industry experience. Teaching method was good. This course help students attain managerial skills that are valued across borders. Exam syllabus is comprised of topics covered in class and someone with good knowledge can easily breeze.

The infrastructure of the college is good, and placements in the college are 100%.
Placements: Placements of our college are good as 100% students of our batch got placed 2 days before the stipulated time. The placement scenario of our senior batch is similar to our batch. The highest salary package offered for summer placements was 1.60 lacs per month. Reputed companies visited our campus for placements. They offered roles in OPS, marketing, finance, and supply chain, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, and the college is located in a prime location. All facilities like labs, classrooms and sports are provided with 24-hour services. Food served in the mess is normal, and they offer homemade food with decent varieties. Hostel rooms for girls are better than that of boys. Teachers reside on the campus.
Faculty: PGPIM is a good course with a huge emphasis on international exposure. The case study based teaching style is used along with giving ample homework every day. The faculty to student ratio is decent where one teacher is allocated for sixty students. Many guest lecturers from the companies visit our campus to provide lectures.

Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, is a lifetime experience for students.
Placements: Our college provides great opportunities of both Summer and final placements for students. About 120 companies visit our college with more than 1/3rd of the batch getting PPOs. Companies that visit our college are from various domains. About 25% of the students of a batch got placed in the finance field. About 50% of the students are placed in the sales and marketing fields. In final placements, the average package offered was about 20 LPA. In summer internships, the average stipend offered was about 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good enough but has good scope for improvement. Students need to manage things with the available facilities. Classrooms and library are excellent. Sports grounds are also good enough as the campus is small spreading over 40 acres of land.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-qualified. They are from the top B-Schools in India. Their teaching quality and teaching methodologies are excellent. There is continuous evaluation which keeps the students on their toes to perform well throughout the course.

Absolutely satisfied with MDI Gurgaon.
Placements: The final Placements for PGP-IM happen together with PGPM. One can view the Placements report on the MDI's website. Placement statistics for the year 2016-2018 were:
the highest Package: 24.45 Lacs INR
Average Package: 18.54 Lacs INR
Median Package: 17.89 Lacs INR.
Infrastructure: The college is equipped with free Wi-Fi and it gives 24 hrs Library access to students. The quality of labs is good and the sports facilities are well managed. I did not face any infrastructure related issue though one may find the hostels to be a bit old. The new hostels are under construction and should be complete by the next year.
Faculty: The professors are very helpful. You may get in touch with any of them for any of your doubts. They are knowledgeable with most of them from premier institutes. The course curriculum for PGP-IM programme was designed in order to give an international exposure to students. It has been made sure that the students get the best of both worlds.

MDI - The best two years of my life.
Placements: Overall, placements at MDI for the class of 2015 were excellent. Speaking of IM course, the placements began well in the laterals. As usual, the IM folks were the first to sign out (owing to the less number of students in the program). The IM students were placed in a wide array of roles such as consulting, general management, finance, sales & marketing. The average salary was close to 15 LPA. IM guys pursue their internships from July to November (min required is 3 months). Half the students did their Internships in Europe whereas the rest chose to come back to India for their internships. For internships, the placement committee doesn't provide any assistance.
Infrastructure: MDI has an amazing campus. It is spread across almost 40 acres in Gurgaon. The classrooms were fully air conditioned and the library was pretty good as well. I think MDI is the only business school in India to have its own golf course. The hostel rooms were decent. We had multiple hostels and Kshitij was the best among all. The mess food was decent, though we had quite a few good canteens and a couple of dedicated night canteens.
Faculty: The faculty team at MDI was really good. We had professors from various top business schools and industry veterans. The focus was mainly on the case study based approach. The curriculum was well-designed and suited to the industry standards. We had guest professors visiting from the Industry as well. Not to mention, MDI boasts of having Prof Sanjay Bakshi in the ManDevIan family.

Management Development Institute has good placements and foreign exchange.
Placements: Placements are excellent. All the students get placed. Don't know about the highest or the lowest, but the average package offered is around 20 LPA. Roles differ from general management to finance, marketing and operations. Recruiting companies includes JPMC, Goldman Sachs for a finance role.
Infrastructure: There are no hostel facilities. There are classrooms, and there is a library. There is an air-conditioned computer centre. Wi-Fi quality is not up to the mark, but speed is excellent sometimes. Food quality has improved significantly. There are sports facilities, include football, basketball, cricket, badminton and tennis. There is also a gym in the college.
Faculty: Some teachers have good level knowledge about their streams, while some are experts in teaching methods. Some subjects are like students may not feel about attending. The course curriculum doesn't help students to be industry-ready. There is a pleasant environment for students which is helpful to students.

No, there is no management quota seat in MDI and other reputed colleges. You have to prepare for the entrance exam and followed up on the eligibility criteria to take admission to MDI.

Hey, It totally depends on the selection criteria for the admissions in that particular year. Just focus on the preparation for the GDPI WAT round and you might actually make it through.
