No, Management Development Institute Gurgaon offers admission based on marks scored in the CAT exam. MDI Gurgaon does not offer admission based on management or institutional quota. After clearing CAT exam, candidates are shortlisted for the GD and PI process, which will be done on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their CAT or GMAT scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussions and Personal Interviews between February and April. The final selection of the candidates will be based on weightage of CAT/ valid GMAT score, PI Academic merit, academic diversity, work experience and social diversity.

MDI Gurgaon FPM Scholarship
The institute offers scholarships to FPM candidates for a maximum of four-year to non-MBA candidates and three-year to MBA candidates. The scholarship amount is INR 60,000 per month. Additionally, a total contingency grant of INR 80,000 and a conference grant of a total INR 2,50,000 shall also be provided to FPM scholars to support their fieldwork, books purchase, research paper presentations etc. It must be noted that the financial support depends upon the satisfactory progress of the candidate during the course. The tuition fee, reading material fees, student welfare fees & library fee is also waived off.

Yes, MDI accepts XAT, CAT, MAT, GMAT, and GRE scores for admission. Management Development Institute, Gurgaon offers many post-graduate programmes including PGDM, PGDM (HR), PGDM (IB) and executive programmes. Candidates can apply online after registering for Common Admissions Test (CAT). GMAT is applicable only for foreign nationals, NRIs, and PIOs. There is one Common Application Form for all three programmes given above. In the online Application Form, aspirants need to mention their programme preference in order. At the time of the admissions offer, candidates will be informed about the programme they are selected for.
Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is a doctoral-level course of a duration of three-year. In this course, apart from the coursework, candidates also have to submit a thesis at the end of the course. MDI Gurgaon offers FPM in two tracks: Residential and Non-Residential. Candidates are shortlisted for final selection based on scores in CAT/GMAT/GRE/UGC-JRF. Shortlisted candidates have to take part in the interview round.
