Aeronautical Engineering at Mahendra Engineering college
Placements: The placements here is quite tough. We have been continuously trained by renowned trainers from companies life Face, Smart, Micro-miracles, etc. The average placements is about 10-20%. Last year, the highest package was about 3.25 lpa. Many students going out without any offer letter, the average salary drops down to less than 1 lpa.
The companies visiting is TVS Harita only for design engineers.
Infrastructure: The campus possess excellent infrastructure with good classroom, world-class library with almost 50+ journals. The labs are average but lacks trained teachers to operate the labs. The sports and games are a pride to our college with world class indoor stadium, cricket grounds and football grounds. We are champions in table tennis with amazing facilities. We have a centralised canteen which can accommodate 1500+ students at peak hours with good food quality. We have good quality of hostels- separate for girls and boys. 2000+ students are residential in our campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are average at our college with most of them just Masters and freshers in the industry. Some faculty members are really amazing with great experience.
The teaching methods used are regular and innovative. Most of them are helpful. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1. Industry experts have been regularly invited to our campus ranging from pilots to managers. The curriculum is useful.

Really good infrastructure, and one thing I have to say is safety and security.
Placements: In my department, 50 percent of students get placed at a time in the field of computer-aided design. The highest package is INR 3.5 LPA. I know it's a very low package, but as a fresher, we can learn a lot while training, so it's enough for me. The company name is TVS Harita; actually, it's not a company; it's a consultancy. They recruit students, they give training, and we can get placed in top companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good, and the environment inside the campus is really good. The classrooms and labs are well maintained. But the hostel rooms and food are quite average. Hot water is not available. The environment of the girls hostel is good. There are a lot of books available in the library.
Faculty: There are a few faculty members available. They are good teachers, strict, helpful, and understanding. It's an autonomous college, so exams are not so difficult to clear. The knowledge we gained in college is not related to the industry's environment. Apart from the subjects, we have to learn a lot through the internet by ourselves, which will help us get jobs in reputed companies.
