TANCET 2026: Anna University is expected to release TANCET notification 2026 anytime soon. Candidates aspiring for MBA or MCA admissions in tamil Nadu will have to appear for TANCET exam. More than 250 colleges will accept TANCET 2026 scores for admissions. Candidates holdeing a UG degree are eligible for TANCET 2026 exam. Candidates can expect TANCET 2026 to be held in the month of March 2026. As per the TANCET exam pattern 2026, candidates have to answer 100 MCQs within 120 minutes. These 100 questions will be based out of five sections for MBA, and four sections for MCA exam. TANCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

TANCET Admit Card 2026

TANCET hall tickets, also known as TANCET admit cards are issued to all successful applicants. Candidates appearing for the TANCET exam have to carry a hard copy of the hall ticket along with a valid photo ID proof. Anna University issues the TANCET 2026 admit card online via a login portal on the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu. Candidates are able to download the TANCET 2026 hall ticket using the credentials, including email ID and password.

TANCET 2026 Results

Anna University will release the TANCET result within a month of the exam date. The TANCET result is compiled in the form of a scorecard. Initially, Anna University releases the results with the actual marks and percentile score. Soon after the result is declared, candidates are allowed to reach authorities for any discrepancy. TANCET ranks are allotted based on the marks of the candidates. All candidates with a TANCET Bscore who get their documents verified before the counselling process will be placed in the TANCET rank list. the highest scorer in the TANCET exam who will get the documents verified will get first rank in the TANCET rank list.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for admission into TANCET colleges?

Candidates aspiring for MBA Admission based on TANCET exam must have a Bachelor's degree with a 50 per cent aggregate score. In case the candidates belong to reserved category, they have a concession of five per cent in aggregate score requirement, I. e. reserved categories need 45 per cent aggregate in the qualifying exam. On the other hand, TANCET colleges offering MCA admission requires the candidates to hold any of the following Bachelors degree: - BCA - B.Sc. Information Technology - B.Sc. Computer Science Engineering Candidates who do not have any of the above mentioned degrees must have studied Mathematics as a major subject in Graduation or at 10+2 exam level.

No. TANCET application fee is payable in an online mode. Candidates who complete the TANCET registration can pay the application fee via debit card, credit card, or internet banking services. Annamalai University MCA cutoff 2025 was released for General and OBC categories under the AI quota. For the students belonging to the General AI quota, the TANCET required cutoff score was 1811. In the OBC category, the cutoff score was 2523.

No. Candidates are not allowed top carry calculators inside the TANCET exam centre. Calculations are to be done manually while taking the TANCET exam.
