Totally satisfied with the infrastructure and the teaching staff members who are friendly.
Placements: Mid-range companies visited our college and expecting a lot more top companies in the upcoming years. A lot of software companies do come to our college. TVS is one fine company that visited. More than 70% of students got internships in mechatronics in various companies.
Infrastructure: The college had an excellent well-maintained library. Hostel and hostel life was something to cherish. The college had Wi-Fi but students weren't bound to use it and it was slow when hostel students use it. Classrooms and library were top. The college supported sports also.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are so helpful. The course curriculum was relevant and looking for more on the field instead of theory. Semester exams were easy if you study. About 40% was the pass percentage but it was easy if you listen classes properly. Clearing exams weren't a big issue.
Other: Mechatronics had an excellent HOD and support staff members who had a wide range of knowledge. Lots of fests happened in the college but looking for more intercollege fests.

Best college for local students who located near Salem and namakkal.
Placements: We are the third batch in our department. There were 54 students. Most of the students placed in MNCs. The highest salary in our department is 50,000 and the lowest is 10,000. Top recruiting company is Infosys. Most of the roles were like software development and machine operator jobs.
Infrastructure: There is a hostel facility for both boys and girls. Separate canteen facility also available. South Indian food and North Indian food available separately. The largest food court is in our college. Separate space available for all sports activities. Medical facilities available there.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are Master's in Engineering. They are well known in Engineering. Each staffs knew every subject. Most of the professors stayed in hostel to help the students to clarify the doubts. Industrial visits are arranged by the college to get knowledge.
Other: This is the best course for future generations. Because it is a course which combined with mechanical and electrical engineering. We learnt about both of the engineering subjects.

Placements in our college are good.
Placements: Many companies visit our college, and they all are the best. The salary offered is Rs. 10,000 to 15,000 per month. Assistant roles are offered. Around 70% of the students got placed from college. Internships are offered by other colleges and companies. All are good and useful for my education.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in the hostel. Classrooms are average. Sports facilities are available. Food provided in the hostel is average, but they charge Rs. 2,500 per month. Food is not worth the money paid. Labs are good and useful too. They have new machines.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful for us to learn the subjects. All are good and knowledgeable. The teaching method is new and useful for all students. Some of the students do not speak English, but teachers help us in improving our English speaking skills.
Other: Scholarships are provided for poor students.

It is a good place to study.
Placements: Many companies are coming for requirements as our department has signed MOU with AGI, so many BPOs are coming and offering a salary of Rs. 9000 per month and Infoview offered 8 lakhs per annum. Nowadays, many companies are coming for roles such as design engineer.
Infrastructure: The college has a good and nice infrastructure. The parking facilities are available for bikes and car. There are bus facilities for the students. The labs are good, and there is a wooden floored indoor stadium available for badminton and basketball. Clean toilets and water facilities are nice. There are no Wi-Fi facilities, but the labs have 1 Gbps LAN connection.
Faculty: The faculty are very helpful and talk very freely. HOD is very friendly.
Assisting faculty members and digital classrooms are available. The faculty assist you with notes and help for exams. If you ask doubts to faculty members, they will help you with it. The projects are to be done by students only in the classrooms, and the guidance is given by faculty members.
Other: There are events like Pentafest in which all the events are conducted including sports and singing.

Has potential but disappoints.
Placements: Some companies are coming in for placement drive but not many students get placed. Anyone can attend the placement drive. A maximum of 5 students get placed in a company. Recent companies which visited include Amazon, Flipkart etc. Many MoUs between companies like Danfoss, Axis Global Automation, etc. have been signed. The placements are okay. You can get placed if you are really skilled. The college tries to help you in getting placed.
Infrastructure: The college has a limited number of buildings and other facilities. There is an indoor stadium that is not really active. The food court is quite big with a wide variety of food and beverages. Wi-Fi in the campus is very lacking in quality. Hostellers can only have Wi-Fi access for an hour per day, which does not even connect. The classrooms are okay with good lighting and air. Overall, I'd say the infrastructure is average.
Faculty: The faculty members were really disappointing. There were a few who had good course knowledge, but when you get to the fourth or fifth semester, they lacked a bit. Then again, it may be only me and my department. The final year is really free. They don't care at all.
Other: The college tries to help but it all goes in vain because of lack of commitment or enthusiasm. There are a lot of extra improvement programs like Danfoss Academy, Infosys, LabVIEW, etc. They recently signed a MoU with Axis Global Automation which helped us a little(we being mechanics students). You can try to boost yourself. The college has a huge library and an internet lab where you could improve yourself. After all, it is what it is because almost all colleges are like this and I know there are worse ones. So you have to work with what you have. Good luck.
