KSR Institution is a good college.

Placements: The quality of placements by the college is good. Around 70% of students get placement opportunities, but some reject the proposal. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. The average salary offered may range between 5 LPA and 15 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college campus is outstanding. It has various facilities like a parking area, a bank on the college campus, a central library with many books, a sports ground, a hostel facility, etc.

Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified and supportive. About 70% of the teachers had doctorates, and they were well knowledgeable about the subject. Their teaching quality was good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are a little tough.

Other: The best part is the festival and events. Every festival is celebrated very enthusiastically and it looks like a carnival in place. Seniors are supportive. There is no discrimination in college. The location is very safe. There is easy access to transport.

A review on mechatronics engineering branch at K.S. Rangasamy College of Technology.

Placements: There are very few placements in our college. Only 2-3 core companies come to hire the students with a salary package of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month during the first year. Only a few members attend the placements. So, the placement percentage is low. For other departments like circuits and IT, students have high opportunities to get placed in core companies. Those branches have a good placement percentage.

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi in our college. Last year, our institution was tied-up with Jio. The library is very good, and it is equipped with a lot of books related to the technical aspects. Medical facilities are also good. Our institutions are now concentrating on developing the infrastructure. Most of the college is under maintenance.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. They help us to do projects on our own, and they guide us. Teaching quality is moderate. Teaching methods are the same as the other institutions. The student-faculty ratio in our branch is not good. They need to improve a lot in teaching quality.

Overall moderately satisfied, because of good curriculum, poor faculty, with poor technological side

Placements: Only 2 core companies. They too recruit maximum of 4 to 5 people on the whole. Software companies comes and picks some as usual and picks up some leaving others unemployed. There is no core placement up to the mark here. Not even upto 10 percent as the whole strength.

Infrastructure: Perfect labs, classrooms, sports activities are given up to the standard. But Wi-Fi facilities aren't still up to the mark. Hostel is much affordable (very low cost compared to other colleges in that area). Mess is not up to the mark. Canteens may be a better option.

Faculty: Course curriculum is superb. It changes for every four year and new regulation is followed for every four years. But staffs are not qualified upto the mark. They lag in newer technologies. They fail to make students understand concepts more easily. They usually seek outsiders to make people knowledgeable by paying extra fee to them.

Other: Events and fest are now conducted at a grand extent. Extracurricular activities are even the best in the district. NCC cadets of ksr are very renowned for their successes in the camos.

Disappointing because of the placements.

Placements: Compared to the last year, placement this year is not good because only 3 companies visited for placements for my department. When compared to the other departments, my department has very less number of companies visiting for recruitment. Only one MNC, Wipro, visited for my department. Overall, the placements in our college are average. The lowest salary was Rs. 12000 and the highest was Rs. 35000.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. Some of the buildings are still under construction. The infrastructure can be improved by providing free Wi-Fi and the number of canteens can be increased which might reduce crowd gathering at one place. The labs are good. Transportation facilities are available free of cost which is very good. The quality of food provided in the hostel can be improved. One of the major problems in our college is the scarcity of drinking water. Not everyday but sometimes drinking water may not be available.

Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and they are all well-qualified, experienced and knowledgeable. They even spare their lunch time to clarify our doubt. About 40 to 50 faculty members are available for a department which is more than required.

Jolly college life but poor placement

Placements: The placements for our department were not so good because we were allowed to attend only one IT company, Wipro and a few core companies. But our college provides a good training for clearing the aptitude rounds. Around 20% students of our department are placed through our college placements. The highest salary package is around Rs 3,00,000 per annum and the lowest salary package is Rs1,20,000 per annum. But, our college did not take any serious steps for internship programs.

Infrastructure: The classrooms and labs in our college are good especially the classrooms which are more spacious. The medical facility is also good because there is a hospital inside our campus with a low cost of treatment. The library is a normal and ordinary one but the construction of a new library is going on. A secured Wi-Fi is available all around the campus but the password is given to the staff members only. Open Wi-Fi is available in some places of the campus. Our college has a football ground, a hockey ground, a basketball court, a kho-kho court, a handball court, two tennis courts, three volleyball courts for outdoor sports and two shuttle courts in the indoor stadium.

Faculty: Only a few of our department faculty members are well-qualified, knowledgeable and experienced. The teaching methods are on board, through PPTs and OHPs. We rarely go for industrial visits through our college. The course curriculum was not much useful for our batch but it is rectified to our next batch by college concern.

Other: Our college has a popular name in that area and also more infrastructures but they are not maintained well by our college management. Some extra credit courses like NPTEL and QEEE are conducted and also department-related skill courses are also conducted in our college with a low fee. These are some good steps taken by our college. The hostel facility is also good but some steps in the mess should be taken to make it good as well.

Other: Good college, worth for giving money. Hostel is worth, 24*7 bus facility available. It only took 10 minutes to reach erode. Free bus facility available in college. The only disadvantage is about ground. All courses is available there. TCS, Wipro and other companies are coming there for placement.

Other: Yes, this is a very good college with good infrastructure. 50% staffs are good for teaching. But the given work is too less we need to make more efforts to get marks and so the college has few bad quality like for fine and for library costs too high.

Other: This college is to the mark in quality of teaching. But,Lab instructors do not teach well. Classes are conducted as per schedule. Placement is good but only I.T companies visit the college.free bus facilities are available.
