The WBJEE 2026 application form will tentatively be released in the third week of Jan 2026 for Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology admission to BTech and BPharm programs.

- The MAT Result 2025 for the September session exam will be announced by the 2nd week of Oct 2025.
- The CAT 2025 exam for admission to MBA/PGDM courses is scheduled to be conducted on Nov 30, 2025.
- The JEE Main registration 2026 is now open for admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses. The registration deadline for session 1 is Nov 27, 2025, and the exam will tentatively be conducted between Jan 21 and Jan 30, 2026.

MSIT admissions 2024 are based on the candidate's scores in the respective entrance exams. In order to get admission, candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria & clear the respective selection rounds. Below is the step-wise MSIT admission process:
Step 1: The MSIT application process is conducted in online as well as offline modes. Candidates must apply through the counseling bodies' websites of respective courses using basic details such as personal and educational qualifications. Along with that, they have to pay an application fee for the respective course.
Step 2: After filling out the application form, candidates have to appear for the respective entrance exam for MSIT course admissions. The shortlisted candidates must appear for further counseling rounds for the respective courses. The institute might conduct a PI round for a few courses.
Step 3: After the completion of all the selection rounds, shortlisted candidates as per the merit lists will get admission to the respective courses. Overall, the college is pretty good. But the campus is very small, having no grounds.
Placements: I am currently studying B.Tech in Information Technology at this college. I will complete the course in 2028. The college offers pretty good placements. The highest package offered is around 7 LPA, and the lowest is around 3 LPA. Companies like TCS, Geotech, etc. Visit the college.
Infrastructure: The college has a pretty big library offering numerous books. The Wi-Fi connection is also decent. However, the college has no hostel of its own. The labs here also have various equipment and are air conditioned. The college also has a canteen and offers good food.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and well qualified. The college is under MAKAUT University, so the semester exams are kind of moderate. The pass percentage is around 80%. Teachers here are always ready to guide the students at any point they feel stuck.
Other: The college hosts several events, such as cultural and sports events. It also organizes a well known technical event named Paridhi. The college has numerous clubs that host these events.

Placements: Around 80-85 percent of students got placed. Top recruiting companies include TCS Infosys Capgemini Cognizant and Wipro. Roles offered range from full-stack developer and QA engineer to data analyst and support engineer. The placement cell conducts regular soft skill sessions and mock interviews to enhance student preparedness.
Infrastructure: The CSE department has well-equipped computer labs a table WiFi and projectors in classrooms. The library is resourceful with both physical and digital access. Hostel facility is not available. The mess food is average but hygienic. Overall the infrastructure is sufficient for academic needs.
Faculty: Most teachers are qualified and supportive especially in CSE. They are approachable for doubts and project guidance. The course curriculum is mostly industryrelevant with subjects aligned to current trends in tech. Coding clubs and workshops further enhance learning. Other: The college offers good returns for the fee charges. Considering the placement support lab facilities and faculty members it is value for money. Scholarships are also available for deserving students and educational loans are accepted. The campus has a healthy and diverse crowd. There are multiple student-run clubs and fests like TechStorm. Cultural events are also organised throughout the year. The college is well-connected to the city via metro and bus. The surrounding area is safe and has eateries and hostels. Consistent placement and qualified teachers.
Placements: About 65% of students were placed from the current passing out batch of 2024. The highest package from B.Tech CSE was approximately 16 LPA and the lowest was about nearly 4.5 LPA. The average package offered was between 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Mostly TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant are the top recruiting companies for our course. I am now in my second year but my seniors have got decent internships from CSE in IT companies such as Deloitte, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college provides an average campus with good classrooms, fully AC libraries, and decent practical labs. Wi-Fi connections are good at times but generally cut out due to the area where the college is situated. The hostels in my college a decent ones with good food, but with a smaller space for rooms. It is nearer to my college which is good for my transportation.
Faculty: The teachers at my college are helpful and friendly. They are always ready to help the students in any kind of need besides study. The quality of their teaching is also good. Moreover, the course curriculum also makes the students industry-ready for the near future. The semester exams are conducted by MAKAUT University and they set a moderate to hard difficulty in exams. The passing percentage is about 38%-40 %.
Other: Lastly, I want to just say my college is a good one to opt for B.Tech CSE. Overall, everything is good in this college. Moreover, this college mainly focuses on education and sincerity in studies. The events of this college gave me immense joy to watch till now as I am now in 2nd year. Think sincerely before entering any college as you will decide your future by hard work not the colleges will do for you.

Placements: I'm currently pursuing a B.Teach in CSE with Cyber Security at Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology, Kolkata, and graduating in 2026 as part of the first batch of this specialization. While our batch is yet to sit for placement, the core CSE branch SEE around 75-80% placements, with an average package of around 5.5-6 LPA, and the highest offers reaching 15 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, and Teach Mahindra along with a growing presence of cybersecurity-focused companies and startups.

Meaningful review of MSIT.
Placements: Our placement cell is good. If we have proper skills, we can get moderate internships and placements. Many of our seniors got more than one placement. The average package ranges from 3.5-4 LPA. All basic companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, and Wipro visit the college every year for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. The library is good, and all necessary books are available. Not all classrooms have ACs. Wi-Fi is not available everywhere. There is a little bit of a network issue in some places in the college.
Faculty: Teachers of the BSH department are more or less strict. Some of them are very strict. If we want to focus only on studies and course-related activities, then it is good. Our BSH department is too strict. But the CSE department is good. We have to attend 75% of the classes in the first year. They are very strict about it.
Other: Extracurricular activities are also good. Fests, tech fest, and freshers organised are too good.

With 82.57 percentile and Delhi home quota, CSE in MAIT/MSIT is almost impossible. For general quota CSE, MAIT closing rank is around 47–48k and MSIT home state around 109k. Spot round chances are super slim at this rank.
