Best college to pursue B.Tech degree. They provide a valuable degree and good placements.

Placements: Around 85% of students are placed in my college from my course of civil engineering. 12 Lacs was the highest salary and the average salary package was 5-6 Lacs. Ultratech group was top recruiting company. Jindal provides internship for around 24 students.

Infrastructure: There Are different types of facilities and infrastructure available for course such as Central library, section wise classroom and practical laboratory. The hostel is nearby college not in college premises. But unofficially connected by college. Facilities are very good which provide hygienic food Hostel organisation provide found for conducting sports tournament.

Faculty: The professors are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good. Course curriculum is designed to satisfy the need according to the market and that's make the student industry ready. Semester exam is conducted by makaut. And little bit tough. 33% is passing percentage.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in civil industry. Best thing about my course is that it allow to job in any industry. Everything is alright. Aloha, Megatron and many fest are organised by college group.

Great placement, great college, and great faculty members.

Placements: It is a very good college. 60% of students have received placement to date; more will be placed in the coming months. The top companies are Ultratech, Bentley, TCS, Wipro, Sapurji, Woods, etc. The highest package offered is INR 10 LPA, and the lowest is about INR 3.6 LPA. The average salary was about INR 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility is not there but many of the students live in RR Plot. The classrooms are neat and clean. They are very well maintained. The Wi-Fi facility is there. The library is also there, where students can read and do research on various topics. A canteen is there on the ground floor.

Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable and the teaching style is also very good so that an average student can also understand difficult topics easily. The course curriculum is well structured and we learn many industry-leading things. The semester exams are very easy to pass if you study regularly.

Other: You should join Megatronix, the official technical club of the college.

Best private institute for core branches in West Bengal.

Placements: Very good placements have been conducted this year. More than 80% of students got placed in the 2023 session department. Companies like STUP and SYSTRA visited and provided packages of INR 5–6 LPA. Others got placed with various construction companies. The highest package was INR 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-equipped and very good Wi-Fi connections are there. The labs are very loaded with powerful hardware. The library facility is also there, where students can read and spend time with books. Every type of book is available and many science journals are there.

Faculty: The course curriculum is MAKAUT. The curriculum is well organized and very structured, which helps us learn many new things about modern construction. The teachers are very knowledgeable here. Most of them are Ph.D. holders and the teaching style is also very good, which helps students understand difficult topics very easily.

Placements: In our college, almost 50% to 70% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 48 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Cognizant, etc., visit our campus.

Infrastructure: Our labs are well-equipped and well-furnished. You can find more than 1,000 books in the library, and you will also get access to digital classroom facilities. The college is excellent and study-worthy. If you are interested then you can come to this college.

Faculty: Our faculty members are good and helpful. They are always there to clear our doubts at any time. They are very knowledgeable and their teaching style is good. They will never refuse to clear your doubts.

Our college offers you a high-quality infrastructure to help you grow as an engineer.

Placements: My 3rd-year final examination is just a week away. Not only me, but other students also were shocked after seeing this year's placement in the Civil Department. This is the best placement year in the last 5 years. The highest salary package offered in this year's placement is 6.5 LPA by Ultratech Cement. The average salary package offered is above 4 LPA this year. Simplex, WIFY, and Pinnacle Infotech were the top companies in our college.

Infrastructure: There is no college hostel. There are many private hostels around the college area. Some of my friends are staying in hostels. There is no Wi-Fi connection for students in college. The living facilities and food availability are as good as my friends suggest.

Faculty: Our college is known for its good-quality faculty members. The faculty members are very helpful and highly qualified. They always give their all in the best interests of the students. They make you ready for real-life scenarios. Semester exams are quite tough as our college is under MAKAUT.

Other: There are many social groups, and students can get exposure by performing extra-curricular activities in college. There are groups for dancing, singing, robotics, etc. Megatronix is a renowned group at our college. There is also a Rotaract club in our college.

Overall, it is the best college in Kolkata.

Placements: As per the analysis, 57% of civil engineering students who had registered for placements got placed, whereas only 43% of the students went for higher studies. Many students joined IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc. Many students got internships in Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility in this college. Many rooms are available for rent. The classrooms and library are very good. Huge stocks of books and journals are available. Wi-Fi is available in college. Department laboratories are very good, and many instruments are available.

Faculty: The faculty members are highly educated. Teachers and HOD help us all time. This college is under MAKAUT, and exams are conducted by MAKAUT. There are eight semesters in total. First and second semesters are common for every stream. 99% is the pass percentage in this college.

Other: I chose civil engineering because I like field work more than office work. The best thing about this course is you always invent new things like building a bridge railway station etc.

I urge students not to get admission into this college.

Placements: Hardly 15 students out of 67 students got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 35,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Simplex Infrastructures and Patodia Group of Companies visited our college for recruitment. Around 25% of the students got internships. Our college offered roles, but there was nothing as special.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi labs weren't available. Classrooms were available, but there wasn't proper ventilation as sunlight couldn't reach the room. Rooms were damp type. The library was good. Hostels were available just for staying purposes, but there was no canteen and medical facilities, but sports and games were available.

Faculty: Teachers may have a proper educational degree, but they were not qualified to take the class at the B.Tech civil engineering level. Except for two teachers, all were pathetic. So teaching quality was below par. Teachers were not up to date about new technologies around the world regarding our subject.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have a passion for highrise buildings, bridges, etc. This course gives a wide range of nation-building. There is nothing to make better in this course in general-purpose, but our college should change faculty members. There were no such events, scholarships and extracurricular activities in our college. Still, students used to participate in other college's events.

Our college has good faculty members and infrastructure, but the placements are average.

Placements: In our college, during our tenure, placements were just average and not great. About 25 students got placed out of 60 students. Companies which visited our college for recruitment were setup consultants, Nagarjuna Construction, Ambuja Cement, Captain TMT and others. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and it was provided by setup consultants.

Infrastructure: The civil department has very good infrastructure, a dedicated computer lab, concrete lab, soil lab, transportation lab and environmental lab. Free Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. Our college doesn't have any hostel facility and a field to play games.

Faculty: The civil engineering department has very good faculty members, along with professors who have degrees from prestigious institutions like IIT, JU and IIEST. The course curriculum is very up to date with today's industrial demands. Faculty members give importance to practicals and lab activities.

Other: I always wanted to study civil engineering, and civil engineering department has a reputation in MSIT. So, I have chosen this course. The best things about the civil engineering department in MSIT are its faculty members and infrastructure. I hope that our college placement cell puts more efforts on on-campus placements so that many students get placed every year. Our college also needs to have its own hostel facilities and a playground where students can play various sports. However, our college organises an annual cultural fest, tech fest, fresher's event, cricket, football tournaments and various other extra-curricular activities.
