If you're from the General category, you need at least 85 percentile to be on the safe side, that is 90+ marks overall. Computer Science and Engineering has a cutoff of around 50k. Admission to the M.Tech program at MIT Chennai is based on the TANCET or GATE exam, and the cutoff marks vary each year

Many students can do B.Tech at an institute. Your question seems incomplete as you should be asking how many students are there in a branch. So, the answer will be 60.
