MIT School of Vedic Sciences Admission 2025: Eligibility, Fee and Selection Criteria

The school offers eight courses in affiliation with MIT ADT University at UG and PG levels in Arts and Humanities stream. MIT School of Vedic Sciences offers BA (Hons), MA, BSc (Hons) and MSc courses. Candidates who have completed Class 12 can apply for the UG courses. Bachelors’ degree in any discipline from a recognised Indian or foreign board or an equivalent degree is required to apply for MA Sanskrit. For MA Psychology, candidates need to complete a UG degree with Psychology subjects as major or an equivalent degree from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate. Aspirants must fulfil the eligibility requirements to avoid rejection in the later stages of admission.

BSc (Hons) is a four-year course as per norms of NEP with multiple exit option. The course is available in various specialisations, namely Psychology, Vedic Science, Philosophy & Yoga and Research Psychology. Candidates need to complete Class 12 from Science stream or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate to apply for BSc (Hons) courses. The selection to any of the BSc (Hons) courses is based on merit in the last qualifying exam followed by an interview round. The school also considers the SOP written by the aspirants.

For MA Psychology, aspirants need to complete a UG degree with Psychology subjects as major or an equivalent degree from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate. Aspirants must hold the proof of eligibility to avoid rejection in the later stages of admission. Apart from the qualification, aspirants wishing to pursue MA Sanskrit need to qualify MIT SVS’ Sanskrit Language Proficiency (SLP) test with at least 70% aggregate.
