One of the best colleges.
Placements: About 70 students were present in my course. There were many top recruiting companies that visited the college. Almost 45% students got placements from the college itself. There were many top roles offered by the companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was one of the best. The libraries and everything was fully AC. The hostel Life was also fine but you can take a PG also, if you want to be dependent on yourself. The food is really nice as compared to other hostels.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are aware of the every minute information. The course curriculum is also relevant. It helps a lot in the industry as teachers do help us for the industry life also. The semester exams are quite difficult, after all it's Mithibai.
Other: I actually chose this course as it was my dream course. There are many things you can learn in this course. Everything was comfortable and fine. The events use to be plenty. Many students used to come from other colleges as well.

Our college has all the best facilities for students.
Placements: About 40% of the students got placements through college. Students who are good at academics are preferred frequently. The lowest salary package offered was about 2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Posts offered are lab technicians, mycologists and food technologists.
Infrastructure: Our college provides almost all the best facilities to students. There are good labs with all the necessary reagents. Jitendra's library is huge and built at one corner of the foyer area. Just in front of the library, there is a photocopy shop. Classrooms are well-equipped with modern teaching instruments like a whiteboard, projectors and LED smartboards. There is also a gymkhana for students to relax, which contains table tennis, carrom and football. The canteen is huge, and it follows all hygiene protocols. Though the food served in the canteen is a bit costly from the outside shops, it tastes good.
Faculty: Almost all the teachers here are well qualified in their respective branches, but teaching is a different skill. They are also helpful, and some of them try to be best friends to students. They are supportive enough, and they want us to be ready for the outside world. The exams are average, but it differs for student to student. If you are prepared for it, then it's good for you. Otherwise, it is difficult for you.
Other: I chose this college because it was not very far from my place, and also it is one of the best colleges in Mumbai city. It is placed at Vile Parle West, which is considered as a very posh area of Mumbai. I have always wanted to be in the medical field, so I chose this course. Our college is famous for its cultural events and fests. The most recognised fest in Mumbai named Kshitiz is organised by our college. Many famous Bollywood actors, pop singers, etc., can be seen performing in these fests. The college crowd is mainly from the economically upper middle class and upper class.

If you want to attend college as correspondence, then this is not for you.
Placements: Our college does not provide placements for bachelor of science in biochemistry students. It provides few opportunities and encouragement for internships. Research projects are always encouraged by the department in various fields. Few guest lectures are conducted by renowned professors.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is amazing. Anything you need for practical or for other things is provided here. There are vast opportunities for competitions and all kinds of activities. The college campus and canteen are the best. The library is a very quiet place with a ton of books to read.
Faculty: The course curriculum is average. Sometimes, they concentrate more on attendance than on the actual academics. After being autonomous, they have become more strict with academics and also internals. Professors are highly knowledgeable and take academics very seriously. Chemistry and zoology faculty members are friendly and helpful.
Other: Stand-up comedians like Biswa, Kunal, etc., visit our college in events conducted by various departments, and students could get passes for free.

The college has very good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: There are 40 students in our course. There are no placements, and no recruiting companies came for this course. We can get internships via summer internship programmes, and teachers provide information regarding the same. Research assistant might be the role offered, but most of them opted to go for masters.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great. We have air-conditioned classrooms, and we can also get access to Wi-Fi if needed. Classrooms have smartboards that help teachers to show information related to the topics. The library is pretty good and air-conditioned, and there are lots of books which students can read and also take a book home.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They provided us with notes and gave us important questions for exams. Most of the teachers of our course are PhD holders, so they are pretty much qualified. They gave us extra knowledge regarding the topics. The course is designed by the teachers and is relevant. Semester exams are a bit tough, but most of the students pass except a few.
Other: I liked this course and wanted to study it deeper. The best thing about our course is it might help to give a deeper understanding of the universe. There is nothing to improve in this course as it is good. There are lots of events all year round, so if you don't like attending lectures, you can do participate in events. The campus crowd is good.

I had the best experience at Mithibai College.
Placements: The placement cell of Mitihibai College is very good as they provide the best placement options and training to their students with the best companies. I am not quite sure about the students who got placed from our course, but companies do select students with good CVs. The salary packages offered are maximum up to 5 LPA by reputed companies, but again it's very much dependent on the students with exceptional personalities. The top roles offered for B.Sc. chemistry students are mainly lab technicians, analytical chemists, medical data entry operators etc.
Infrastructure: Mithibai College has the best infrastructure and facilities for students. It is quite comfortable with a friendly environment. They have the best labs with well-equipped instruments, air-conditioned classrooms with comfortable space, a good library indeed and a hygienic canteen. The college has its own ground for cricket, football, and other activities and also a separate medical room. They have the most experienced teachers who are always helpful to their students with lots of guidance, interactive sessions that make us more involved in active learning. So, I had the best experience within these 3 years with this college.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, and we mostly had highly experienced professors. Hence, the sessions we attended are very quite knowledgeable, besides the regular curriculum. Mostly, they made the sessions interactive with presentations and seminar-based learning. The course curriculum is 100% relevant as it has all that relevant and required learning that makes one ready for industrial job opportunities.
Other: The course curriculum provided is good. The best thing about the course is we get proper guidance from the professors and do not have limited learning. I wish the sessions can be a bit less time-consuming during the examination days. Events such as KSHITIJ, Umang, etc., leave you with the best college memories. Each department organises its own fest, which helps students to engage a lot. Students are always motivated to indulge in their extracurricular activities. The college also organises interpersonal skills development programs or seminars. Students can also take advantage of various scholarships offered by the college.

Our college has an excellent infrastructure with a world-class library and classrooms.
Placements: I was from B.Sc. In our college, the placement cell for science students is not good at all. If you possess some extra skills like communication to add management skills, your chances are higher to get placed but not in the science field. Only 20% of the companies approach our college for the science stream. From our batch, around 4 students got placed out of 108. Only one company named GIA, i.e., Gemological Institute of America, showed interest.
Infrastructure: It is one of the best colleges known for its infrastructure with multiple and larger auditoriums and halls. Our college has air-conditioned classrooms and a library. The cafeteria is world-class with total hygiene, and they provide pure vegetarian food at reasonable prices. Bathrooms and hallways are always neat, clean and shiny.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified in terms of degree, but in the classroom, they are unable to handle students. The quality of the curriculum is excellent, but it does not make students industry-ready. There are many teachers who have post-graduated from IIT Bombay, but the delivery of content and speech to students is not clear.
Other: Our college conducts the best events and functions.

It is not the right place if you care about quality of education.
Placements: Placements in Mithibai for B.Sc mathematics students were really terrible. Out of 44 students in our TYBSC mathematics division, only 2 students got average placements, and even those placements are offered in the finance and sales sectors. Most of the other students don't attend placements because of poor placements. Being mathematics students, we expect to get placements related to actuarial science or data science or some other fields along these lines. But offering marketing or sales placements to mathematics students is ridiculous. I am not sure about the lowest salary package offered, but the highest salary package offered was around 8 LPA for bachelor's degree holders. But the roles offered were related to the commerce field and not related to the science field. One of my friends from B.Sc mathematics already had planned to opt for MBA, so he accepted a placement offer from a company related to sales. He was offered a salary package of around 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting company for our course was Wipro IT, but it was not exactly like a job offer. It was a 5 years bond where we have to study and work in Wipro IT. Internships for mathematics students were also the same type. We were offered internships related to sales, advertising, marketing, content writing, etc., which most of the students simply ignored in our class. So, I don't know much about how many students got internships from our class. But I am pretty sure most of us didn't complete those internships. Best roles offered in our course were sales associate, business associate, content writing expert and financial market analyst.
Infrastructure: Mithibai has a somewhat good infrastructure. Every classroom is air-conditioned and has a huge whiteboard and a 40-inch smart board TV for enhanced teaching. Wi-Fi facility is not available for students. Labs are well maintained and updated. For mathematics, we don't have a very technical lab and have just a classroom with a whiteboard and smartboard, as our practicals just include solving math questions. However, we had statistics as a subject in the second year, and it has a fine lab with great modern computers since some of the practicals required coding. The library is huge and air-conditioned. It has computers for research and a huge collection of books. It is quite modern and well-equipped, and a lot of seating arrangements are available for students who wish to sit in the library and study. Mithibai does not have a hostel. However, many hostels are available nearby, and I came to know this because there are students who come from Delhi, Rajasthan and Gujarat in our class. Mithibai has a huge canteen with a lot of varieties of dishes. The canteen is as good as a fast-food restaurant, and the quality of the food served is amazing. Mithibai's canteen is pretty famous across all the colleges in Mumbai. Basic medical facilities are available. Mithibai does have a game room where students can play table tennis, carrom and chess. Mithibai also has NCC and NSS.
Faculty: There are many disadvantages in Mithibai in terms of faculty members. Our college has made a pretty fancy infrastructure which is surely alluring, but what matters most is the quality of education. In the B.Sc mathematics department, the teachers have knowledge in their respective areas of teaching, but most of them are not good at providing quality education. They cannot teach properly, and most of them have ego issues. They focus on completing the syllabus rather than making understand concepts. If you like to study mathematics by building intuition and create a deeper understanding of concepts, then this college is going to be a nightmare for you. They only care about how much theory you can by heart. Rote learning is at its finest. Not even a single teacher teaches about things other than the syllabus. However, we have two good teachers during our FY and SY, but one of them resigned from the college, while the other one was transferred to the commerce department, which is disappointing. The quality of education provided in B.Sc mathematics is very poor, and we had to study most of the things on our own. Teachers are not friendly to students. Journals and assignments are also cumbersome in the maths department. Teachers do not solve doubts properly, and even YouTube was the best to learn undergraduate mathematics. The course curriculum is decent and at par with Mumbai University's course curriculum. A few units were pretty obsolete and completely theoretical. The course curriculum cannot make you entirely ready for the industry. It is theoretical mathematics, so it is more about proofs and very little about real-world applications of mathematics.
Other: I am from the 2020-2021 batch of B.Sc mathematics. I decided to choose this course as I was told mathematics is helpful for data science. So, I had planned immediately to join it after completing my 12th standard. I think a lot of things could be improved about our course. The teachers need to build intuition rather than focusing on vague theory. They should use good YouTube videos or animations for a better explanation of difficult concepts. They should encourage research. In universities of China, Japan, US, etc., and even at the undergraduate level, students publish research papers or undertake great research projects. The education provided will be a waste if students cannot apply it to solve real-world problems. In Mithibai, plenty of events and festivals are organised throughout the year. Mithibai is famous for its events such as Kshitij, etc. The crowd in Mithibai is quite decent and well-mannered. Mithibai is situated near to Vile Parle station, so connectivity is not a big issue for most of the students. The campus is surrounded by a residential area with Juhu beach, which is being the nearest public attractive place. A lot of street food eateries are available near Mithibai. A few scholarships are available in Mithibai, but I don't know much about it. Extracurricular activities conducted here include NCC, NSS and a lot of different clubs or committees such as drama club, English debate society, cultural committee, etc.

Review of Mithibai College of Arts.
Placements: The lowest package offered is 5-6 LPA in B.Sc. chemistry. There is a lot of scope and students get more marks in this field. The students are doing well in this field, and they easily pass this course. Students get 100% placements in this field.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are very good. The canteen food quantity is very good. Our college has all sports and games facilities. The college organises sports event every year. The college organises Kshitij, an annual festival which is famous in India.
Faculty: We have separate teachers for every subject. All the teachers are very good at teaching. All the teachers have completed their PhD in their subjects. Teaching quality is the best in our college. Students are enjoying their lectures. All the teachers are very helpful.
Other: Mithibai Kshitij annual fest is conducted in the college.
