Decent placements, supportive faculty, and good infrastructure at MESCOE Pune.
Placements: In MESCOE Pune, about 34% of students got placed, with packages ranging from 3.7 LPA to 42 LPA; the average package is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters include IT and core companies. Roles offered were in software, electronics, and automation, with some internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: MESCOE Pune offers well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and a rich library for academic needs. The hostel has decent rooms, basic amenities, and average-quality mess food. Sports facilities, medical aid, and a canteen serving varied snacks are also available.
Faculty: MESCOE Pune has qualified and supportive faculty, with good subject knowledge and a practical approach. The curriculum is SPPU-based, covering core and industry-relevant topics. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a high pass rate for prepared students.

Good placements and campus.
Placements: Placements are average, with decent opportunities for certain branches but relatively fewer for others. The placement cell does make efforts to invite companies, but more industry tie-ups and skill-oriented training programs would improve outcomes. Internship opportunities are available, but students often have to be proactive in finding them.
Infrastructure: Hostel and canteen facilities are satisfactory. Hostels are clean, though food quality in the mess could be better. The canteen offers a variety of snacks and meals at reasonable prices. In conclusion, the college provides a supportive environment.
Faculty: The faculty quality varies across departments. While some professors are genuinely knowledgeable and approachable, willing to clear doubts and guide students beyond the syllabus, others tend to rely heavily on outdated teaching methods and lack interactivity.
Other: A stronger focus on interactive, practical learning and updated course content would greatly benefit students preparing for competitive exams and industry roles as well.

Try to get into a better college than this.
Placements: Very few placements happened. The TPO was lazy. Mostly, only the CS branch got placed, and that too in small numbers, around 20% at most. The lowest package was 2.4 LPA in the core field, and the highest was 11 LPA for a Data Analyst role. TCS hired the most, offering packages of 3.3 LPA and 7 LPA. The average package was not higher than 4 LPA. Along with them, Bosch and Actalent also hired a few students. Vodafone cancelled its hiring process.
Infrastructure: There was a single library, which was very good. Wi-Fi facility was available only for staff use. Labs were good. Classrooms were spacious and could accommodate 100 students at a time. Some of them had projectors as well. I didn’t stay in the hostel, but as far as I knew, it was good. We had two canteens, both of which were shut down after COVID.
Faculty: The teaching quality was mixed. Some teachers, like Chormale Sir for Maths, were very good, while others were no better than students. The curriculum didn’t include anything that made us industry-ready. Exams were easy, even if you prepared just a day before using YouTube. The pass percentage was rarely below 95–100%, as colleges didn’t like to fail students, and it damaged their reputation.
Other: I chose this college because my relative told me it offered good placements. The college gave a very low budget for extracurricular activities, but we still enjoyed ourselves with what we had. The yearly fest was nice but not as good as those in some other colleges. The campus was small. Connectivity was good, as the Metro line ran next to it.

Campus life is not very enjoyable but is worthwhile for education.
Placements: From batch 2025, the placement rate was down. Still, nearly 60% of the batch was placed in the computer branch. Companies like Zensar, Infosys, Capgemini, and TechMahindra are the top recruiters for the computer branch. The college helps a lot in internship and training programs. Generally, associate software developer roles are provided by the companies.
Infrastructure: College hostel is mainly available for first and second-year students. The hostel building is good, providing all the essential amenities. The mess is average but still better in that area. There are many labs designed for the computer department. The most recent one is the AR/VR lab, which is very attractive. All the equipment is new and branded.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and student-friendly. They ensure a good education and are themselves very learned and intelligent. The teaching quality is extraordinary, and they also cover topics beyond the syllabus. As the college follows the SPPU-designed curriculum, Insemister and EndSemister exams are conducted, but according to the new syllabus, only end semmister exams are held. The course curriculum is well-structured and also supports self-learning effectively.

Faculty members are the best, but placements are weak.
Placements: So, according to my personal observation, overall 40% of students got placed. The average package is 3 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiting company of my course included HSBC which is only for female candidates. Talking about internships, 5-7% of students got internships. Top role offered by the company is the hiring for GET (graduate engineer trainee).
Infrastructure: College infrastructure which plays an important role is as follows at my college. The labs are properly maintained issue is the lag of Wi-Fi in common rooms or corridors. I am not the hostelite but one thing I know is that mess is the worst, we can say no proper maintenance of students' health at all.
Faculty: As far as I know, the faculty members are one of the best things ever in the college other than non-tech faculty. Curriculum of the SPPU is followed in my college which prepares the students in a decent manner to get ready for all activities. Exams at the college are not felt that much difficult as it is the one opt branch.

I am dissatisfied with the placements.
Placements: Around 35% are placed, among whom most are girl students. The highest package is 9 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HSBC, Capgemini, and Capsitech. Around 10% of students got internships at Ellicium and Coditas. Roles offered are software trainee and analyst.
Infrastructure: Labs are good, and Wi-Fi is also available. The facilities in the hostel are the worst. Proper food is not there, and hostelers are already getting ill due to that. Also, there is no water purifier, so filtered water is not available, and cold water is also not available.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, but they take things so personally that they don't take our submissions seriously and are just concerned about their work and lunch, especially. They don't consider our hard work and just take things so lightly. Semester exams are average because, most of the time, the questions are not from the syllabus, which is the reason we don’t score better in examinations.
Other: I chose this course to get the base ready for my further domain training. The best things are not so many, but the thing that should be improved is to please reduce the curriculum and make students practically ready for the industry. Only theoretical knowledge is not enough.
