Placements for students of civil engineering and mechanical engineering are relatively low but they get benefits of having the B.Tech degree from a government college.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2028

My college experience, value for money, is the best in Bihar.
Placements: I am from electrical engineering branch currently. I am in my first year, so I can't give much information, but many seniors got placed this year with a great package. Highest package was almost 10 LPA from Reliance, and internship scene is not so good.
Infrastructure: Some hostels are new, but the hostel for the first year is very bad, it is from the 90s. Building has a crack. Hostels have Wi-Fi, but no connection every time. Quality of mess in H1 is very bad. Very low-quality food is served there. There are no medical facilities in this college.
Faculty: This college has best quality teachers. Studied at a reputed college. But some of the old teachers have very bad teaching styles, like this thing happens in almost all colleges. Mid-semester exams happen just before the end semester, which is a very bad thing in this college. Curriculum is relevant.
Other: I chose this branch because I always thought of this branch if I didn't get the CSE. Best things about my course are that it is very hard. Fests do happen in our college.

The college provides a good education with less or we say minimum fee.
Placements: Placements are not as good, even for IT students but the number of students getting placed is quite reasonable. On-campus placements are normal but students from here had good off-campus placements so we can say students get a good understanding of corporate life within this college.
Infrastructure: Being one the oldest colleges of engineering in Bihar, MIT Muzaffarpur has good infrastructure proper facilities of labs, and other classrooms. The library is good but the timings are quite limited which needs to be improved. Our whole college is well-equipped with Wi-Fi with good connectivity.
Faculty: Some teachers are very good but some are also not good there are many teachers with high education. Qualification they have good knowledge and knowledge of how to teach students so that they can understand the topic. Class is going on a regular basis and attendance is mandatory.

MIT, Muzaffarpur has potential but requires upgrades.
Placements: I am currently a student at this college, so I don't have complete information about placements. However, based on what I have heard from seniors, placements are good and improving. Some students get jobs in well-known companies, while others prepare for higher studies or government exams. The placement cell tries to bring companies, but the final selection depends on students' skills. If we focus on learning and improving our skills, then we will get better opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college has moderate infrastructure. There are classrooms, a library, and labs. The hostel facilities are decent, but the food in the mess needs improvement. Sports facilities exist but could be better. Overall, the infrastructure is satisfactory but it can be improved.
Faculty: Teachers are average, and their teaching quality is good. Some faculty members explain concepts well, while others just follow the syllabus. The course curriculum is relevant, and students need to learn extra skills on their own. Semester exams are moderate, and passing depends on the preparation of students. Overall, the academic environment is supportive.

Hostel life is very good, and the mess is also good.
Placements: Mostly, the Civil and IT sectors have good placements. Cement and IT companies come and offer placements. During my time, the highest package was 8 LPA, and the average was 6 LPA. The highest package is given in the IT sector. Students also get internships at any company.
Infrastructure: Hostel life is my best life. The food is good. The Wi-Fi is very good, but the labs are not. The classrooms are very good, and the library has a very peaceful area and has all the books available for reading, so the library is also good.
Faculty: The teachers in my branch are the best. The teaching quality of my branch paper is good, but not in all subjects. The faculty for all subjects is not proper. Semester exams are conducted very seriously. Subjects like Power Systems and Power Grid require at least 2 months of training.

MIT, Muzaffarpur gives you a better career if you give your best effort.
Placements: I'm Shivam Kumar Pathak pursuing B.Tech in mechanical engineering from MIT Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The placement scene in this college depends upon students' effort. on campus placements are increasing day by day.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are not too much good but a classic setup of living, playing, and enjoying life throughout all 4 years. The environment of college is too much good. Extra skill development and competitions are also good compared to other colleges of Bihar, except NIT or IIT. Labs are available and experiments in labs are done properly by students with the support of lab assistants and guidance. Library provided for students is equipped with internet, AC, and all facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members and HOD are supportive. Exams are of moderate level in mid-semester or end-semester exams. Teachers are very helpful. The passing criteria is 33 marks out of 100. The internal marks given by professors are better. Classes are scheduled from time to time.
Other: Events organized in this college are on the top ranking as compared to other colleges of Bihar. The core branches of college are best.

There are no placements for civil engineers, and some buildings are old.
Placements: There are no placement offers for civil engineering professions in this college, but many companies come for other branches of engineering like Information Technology (IT) and Computer Science (CSE). Many students also get good packages.
Infrastructure: College buildings are old, but some are built for upcoming batches of students. Wi-Fi facilities are provided, and labs are present with full equipment. There's a library with full air conditioning and computers, but its opening time is 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Regular classes are conducted.
Faculty: Faculty are very good, but some are also not as effective. There are many teachers with high educational qualifications, they have good knowledge and know how to teach students so that they can understand the topic. Classes are going on a regular basis, and attendance is mandatory.
