Great College, possibly have a lot of money, but it has a very strict attendant policy.
Placements: As per what I have listened, around 40 percent of students got placements. The highest package is around 11 LPA. Companies from all over the world. Only 30 percent of the people got internships; the other 60 percent are doing their own business. Senior event manager to handle the companies’ events.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the syllabus and the course is very interesting, and we get to go to the rural areas for some days and a national study trip. I can’t tell you much about the hostel as I am not in MIT hostel, but as per what I have listened, the rooms are really good. Hostel food and its quality is not very promising. They have lots and lots of sports activities.
Faculty: Teachers are really qualified and helpful. They will guide you very well in one-on-one sessions. They will share their knowledge and their contacts with you. The course is very good. Till now, we have got lots and lots of opportunities for internships, event management opportunities, and information. All of the semester exams are really workable if you attend classes regularly. They explain the topic by video, PPT, and sometimes even by discussing and taking case studies.
Other: I have chosen this course as it contains a dual course, global marketing and event management. I am very interested in doing events. I wish that MIT itself conducts big events and gives us the opportunity.

It's a good college for anyone genuinely interested.
Placements: In my batch, around 55-60 percent of students are placed. The highest package offered is around 12 LPA-15 LPA. Common roles offered are business executive, relationship manager, and operations executive. Overall, opportunities exist, but the outcome depends heavily on internships and how we carry ourselves.
Infrastructure: The campus is neat and clean. There are clear rules mentioned, and actions are also taken against violators. I can't say anything about the food as I haven't tried it, but the vibe of the campus is top class, especially when it rains. The crowd is amazing too, and we will feel like coming to college every day.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified (almost everyone holds a Ph.D, and those who are genuinely looking for quality education can take admission. The problem I notice is in the management of the whole semester. Communication is not transparent, and if anyone has a problem, he/she will be passed around from one building to another, and the problem will rarely be solved.

Good college with balanced academics and campus life.
Placements: In my course, around 75 percent of students got placed, and the rest opted for higher studies outside India. The highest package offered is around 30 LPA, and the average is around 7 LPA. Top recruiters include Infosys, Microsoft, HCL, and Tech Mahindra. Top 5 percent of students got internships with a stipend, and in very good companies, the rest had to struggle for it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is modern. Our department has well-equipped labs with Macs and high-speed Wi-Fi. Hostel facilities are decent, the mess food is manageable, not amazing, but edible. One girls' hostel is on the campus itself, but the only boys' hostel is around 8-9km away from the campus; however, the college provides bus facilities. Sports grounds, indoor games, and medical facilities are available in the new sports complex.
Faculty: The faculty in my course are generally well-qualified. Most teachers are supportive when it comes to clearing doubts. Semester exams are very easy to clear if you study for at least 30 min or 1 hour a day. The curriculum is updated as per industry requirements, with workshops every month. .
Other: I chose this course because the best part of the course is the hands-on lab sessions and opportunities to participate in various tech hackathons. The thing I wish could improve is the placements. I hope the big MNCs recruit more students. Also talking about the college life, a very active campus and Events literally every week, and also many student clubs which you can join and learn new things and connect with like-minded people.

Strong cybersecurity programme with supportive faculty.
Placements: For the placement drive 2024, the CSE cybersecurity and forensics branch has around 120-130 students, out of which around 80 got placed, and the highest salary offered was 19 LPA, and the average package was around 7-8 LPA. Major companies included IBM, TCS, Accenture and HCL. Top roles mainly consisted of a Security analyst.
Infrastructure: The entire academic building and labs are covered with campus-wide Wi-Fi. In speak hours, it may slow a bit, but overall connectivity is reliable. Most CSE classes are conducted in newer academic blocks, so classrooms feel modern. The biggest library you'll find in Pune has various books from different streams available. Hostel rooms are not luxurious, but comfortable and functional. Mess Food is average to good, completely veg. MIT has 2 different canteens, one of the premium ones called Encave and the other, a budget-friendly one called Shreeraj.
Faculty: Teachers in the department are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most hold M.Teach/PhD degrees. The curriculum is industry-relevant. It includes cybersecurity tools, digital forensics, networking, cloud, AI basics, and hands-on labs. Semester exams moderate not very difficult if you attend classes and study regularly. Questions are usually from the taught syllabus. Around 80-90% clear the exams.
Other: I chose cybersecurity because I personally want to pursue a career in it, coz it is one of the fastest-growing industries. Better placement focus for cybersecurity-specific roles can be the only improvement. The campus has active events and fests, a friendly crowd, and a vibrant campus life with many clubs and activities. The surroundings are safe, well-connected, and student-friendly.

It is one of the best college.
Placements: This is my first year in college and I am not more aware of the placement. While taking admission in college my staff member told me the lowest is 3 LPA and the highest is 1.5Cr. I do not know exactly they told me this only. There are many cloud of internships in this college but they charge. Till now I have not done any internship but I saw many companies coming to college for internship programme like Tata etc.
Infrastructure: It has excellent infrastructure and it has availability of Wi-Fi labs classrooms and library. Library is to good for this college. I did not see any college that has this kind of library. Hostel canteen food is not that good. Sports and game facilities are good. It has a dark side also some students are addicted to drugs and do wrong things. 1 or 2 months ago there a child ordered something from Blinkit and some things happened that the Blinkit boy beat our campus student he was full of blood.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful well qualified and knowledgeable. I am not ready for the industry because I am in my first year. My semester exam did not happen that is why I do not know about the examination. Some class tests and internal tests happened. They are easy and some are also hard.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in the IT field and by Gods grace I got 96 percent in MHT CET.

Absolutely satisfied with the college and faculty.
Placements: This year would be the first passing out batch for this course, and most of them have started getting placement with great packages. Top companies do come for placement drives. Most of them get placed as a Data analyst and risk analyst. As far as I know, the highest package has been 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has great on-campus hostels with Wi-Fi and all amenities. The library is just mesmerising, its ambience is on another level. Classrooms have a great ambience, as in our department. Mess food is average, but the sports facilities are just amazing. Overall, it's excellent.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and well-experienced and teach us through their experiences and life perspectives. If you attend classes every day, then it would be quite easy in exams to score good marks, otherwise, it's somewhat difficult. The course is meant to make you industry-ready.
Other: MIT is famous for its events and campus life. It'll provide you with one of the best college experiences.

The IIMs opens their shortlisting window based on the CAT cut-offs two to three days after the result announcement. The CAT percentile of candidates shortlisted for the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) can be considered the cut-off for that IIM. For example, if a candidate with a CAT percentile of 99 belonging to the General category is selected for the WAT/GD-PI of IIM Calcutta, then the CAT cut-off for IIM Calcutta is 99 percentile. Only those candidates who make it to the WAT/GD-PI round of IIMs will get to know the cut-offs.
