So, it is recommended that the candidate carefully goes through the NID DAT 2025 admission handbook before filling out the application form.
Note that NID 2025 application edit window will be open once application closes. However, the candidate will be allowed to edit only a handful of information.
It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to provide correct and verifiable information during the application process. The National Institute of Design (NID) Vijayawada accepts 75 students per year for its B.Des program. The B.Des programme is a four-year course offered in three specializations. The first two semesters are a Design Foundation Programme, followed by six semesters of study.

National Institute of Design Andhra Pradesh cutoff for three BDes specialisations, including NID in Communication Design, NID in Industrial Design, and B.Des. in Textile and Apparel Design is 62.2, whereas an Open Rank of 154 is also required for the open category students. NID Andhra Pradesh cutoff is released of other categories, including Open, GEN -EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD and Overseas as well. Further, candidates who meet the NID DAT cut off are considered for the admission process for BDes admission 2024-25 batch. NID DAT exam 2024 registrations are ongoing.
While filling out the NID application form, candidates have to enter their personal, academic, and personal information. They are also required to upload a photograph and signature, and caste Certificate if applicable. In case of candidates seeking admission under reserved categories, they also need to upload a category Certificate. PwD category candidates will also have to upload the relevant Certificate.
The category and PwD certificates should be in PDF format and max 2 MB.

No, you cannot enrol directly in NID Vijayawada or the National Institute of Design in Andhra Pradesh. NID Vijayawada admits students through a two-stage admission test procedure. The first step is the national exam administered by NID, called the Design Aptitude Test (DAT). The interview and design portfolio constitute the second phase.
