National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) Aurangabad was established in 1987 with the objective of training manpower in the field of Information, Electronics and Communication Technology (IECT). - NIELIT Aurangabad BTech admission is based on JEE Main rank, followed by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling
- For admission to MTech, candidates must have a valid GATE score
- The centre conducts an entrance exam for admission to the Diploma in Electronics Production & Maintenance (DEPM)
- Admission to non-formal courses is based on a candidate's performance in the NIELIT Exam
- PhD admission is based on Dr BAM University's PhD Entrance Test (PET)
