College for AI & ML with supportive faculty, and decent placements.

Placements: The college offers decent placement opportunities. Especially in technical branches like AI and Ml. The highest salary package can go up to ?05 LPA, with average offers around ?3-4 LPA. College not internship opportunities to students, not helping them gain practical experience.

Infrastructure: The campus is well-equipped with no modern classrooms, computer labs, and a library. Hostel facilities are very bad. The Wi-Fi connectivity is reliable, supporting academic activities smoothly. The infrastructure for a hostel is not very good and the course is less provided information.

Faculty: Teachers are less knowledgeable, supportive, and experienced in their respective fields. They explain topics not clearly and do not help students with doubts or projects. Real-time projects are not done in the college and less information about them. I do not refer to detect this college.

Other: The college provides a lower return on investment, considering the affordable good feel. The quality of education is not good, and the infrastructure and placement are limited.

Overall, you have to do everything, the college will not do anything only they can help you.

Placements: Placement in our college is average because this is the first batch passed out. A lot of companies like HDFC Bank, AXIC Bank, Fincap, Justdail, Gallant, and India Glycois Limited came to our college. Approximately 300 students got internships at the Samsung Innovation Campus and some students got pre-placement offers from Samsung.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is average. Smartboard classrooms, cyber security lab, cloud computing lab, thermodynamics lab, and engineering graphic lab are available. Recently, the library is inaugurated. There are limited sheets in the hostel and mess is not available in the hostel so students cook their own food.

Faculty: Faculty of our college is very helpful. They are qualified for the NITs. The level of semester exams is moderate. The passing number in our college is 39 out of 100. This year a new batch is going to start which is (AI) I think this is not relevant for students.

Other: Events and fest in our college are very less in our college only some events are organized like Dussehra, Basant Panchami, and Rangoli. Due to the university, the crowd is too much. Connectivity is good for our college. The name of the college is Institute of Engineering & Technology which comes on the campus of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University.

I am satisfied with our college studies but it should improve it's placement cell.

Placements: The placement in our ECE branch is low compared to the CSE branch. The ECE placement percentage is around 20 to 25%. The highest package is 11 LPA and the lowest is 1.2 LPA. The average package is 3 LPA. Robotics Era comes this year for ECE placements. Mostly, CSE students grab internships in different companies. Most students prepare for GATE, and other CSE students try for jobs in software development.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good. Wi-Fi facility is available in all departments. Classrooms are good. There are two libraries one is the Central Library, and the other is the IET Library for engineering students. The hostel facilities are very poor, so most students stay in PGs, hostels, or flats outside the campus.

Faculty: Our professors are very qualified and very helpful to students. Some of the engineering professors are IITians. The teaching quality is excellent in all departments. The course curriculum is mostly relevant for those preparing for exams like GATE. The semester exams are average in terms of difficulty.

Other: I chose this college for GATE preparation. Our college should also focus on placements, not just teaching for semester exams.

B.Tech in IT at DDUGU offers affordable education but limited placement opportunities.

Placements: Placements for the IT branch at DDUGU are not very strong. Unlike private engineering colleges with a dedicated placement cell, DDU does not have a well-established placement system for its B.Tech students. The highest package offered is around 3 LPA. Many students rely on off-campus placements, internships, GATE, and government job exams to secure employment if placement opportunities are a priority.

Infrastructure: The university has a decent infrastructure with adequate classrooms, libraries, and labs for IT students. The availability of modern computing resources and high-end software tools is somewhat limited compared to top engineering institutes. Wi-Fi connectivity and coding labs could be improved for better learning experiences.

Faculty: B.Tech in IT with a standard course curriculum covers programming, data structures, databases, networking, and other IT-related subjects. Being a traditional university, the emphasis is more on theoretical knowledge rather than practical or industry-oriented learning. Faculty members are knowledgeable, but some students feel that the teaching methodology could be more up-to-date with industry trends.

Overall, this university is value for money.

Placements: 51% of students are placed in our course. 70% of students got internships from our course in many companies through the university. The top recruiting companies for our course are Code Gesture, Softintra Technology Private Limited, Jayboo Software Private Limited, 360lution Pvt. Ltd, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities are very well, and the infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is also available, and the classroom is nice. The library is too small but good. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is very nice. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is value for money. Sports and games are organized by the university from time to time.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Many teachers come from the top-level universities and colleges like NITs, national-level universities, and some IITs. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. The semester exams in this college are moderate, and the pass percentage is approximately 80-85%.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest. The best thing about our college is the admission process, which is very good. Here, students come through the JEE Main and university entrance exam. Scholarship is also available for B.Tech students. Here, all B.Tech seats are self-financed.

Here is a brief description of the IET department at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University.

Placements: Placements are not good since the department is very new. Hence, a few companies visit, like startups, offering a very low package. Overall, students have to do a lot of hard work to get placement. Since the institute is new, there are very less placements, which is a common challenge for students in newly established departments. That's a breakdown of the issues and some potential strategies.

Infrastructure: Classroom are not good. The seating capacity is much compared to the number of students. The classes are conducted in another department, so there is very less interaction with seniors. Labs are also conducted in the B.Sc. department. This institute is very new, but conditions are improving.

Faculty: The teachers are good and supportive of promoting regular classes. They are well-educated, well-qualified, and have experience and proper knowledge of their subjects.
