BHU BTech Admission Dates 2025
Since last year, the university has been admitting candidates to the UG programme based on merit in CUET-UG. Thus, the aspirants shall stay updated with the CUET-UG dates for BHU. BHU BTech Admission 2025: How to Apply?
The admission to the UG course is entrance-based. Before proceeding with admission formalities, the aspirants shall ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements. BHU admission is a multi-step process that includes registration, appearing for the exam, the release of the cutoff list, and counselling. The steps to be followed for the BHU BTech course admission are:
STEP 1: BHU BTech Application Process 2025
The BHU application process is conducted online through the official website of NTA. For a successful application submission, candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 650 (General/ OBC Category)/ INR 550 (SC/ST Category). The application process consists of the following steps:
- Visit the official website of CUET-UG and click on the 'New Registration' tab.
- Fill out the application form with all the mandatory details, such as personal and educational qualifications, etc.
- Upload the scanned photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications.
- Select courses and Universities as per your preference and pay the CUET application fee as mentioned above.
STEP 2: Selection Process
Candidates are shortlisted by the university based on CUET scores. Shortlisted students have to go through a counselling round for seat allotment.

For some courses, such as BA (H), BSc (H), and BTech, candidates have to complete the CUET-UG application process. Additionally, for the PG courses, the CUET-PG application has to be submitted successfully. Further, for other courses, the application has to be submitted to the university. To apply online, candidates can visit the BHU official website. Then they have to login with valid credentials and fill out the applicaation. Further, applicants should upload documents and pay the application fee amount.
BTech CSE is not available at the BHU main campus. However, the Indian Institute of Technology ( IIT-BHU) offers BTech in Computer Science & Engineering. Banaras Hindu University offers a four-year full-time BTech course at the undergraduate level. The University offers BTech courses in Dairy Technology and Food Technology.
