A different experience filled with enjoyment with the locals and made a lot of friends.

Placements: This college has a central placement rule with lots of opportunities, and you can go to any NIFT campus for placement, but you can choose only 3 of the campuses. Apart from that, you can get PPO from the companies where you did the internships. As per the curriculum, you have to do three internships per semester.

Infrastructure: It has a unique infrastructure. As it is a designing and creative field, every campus has there own design and AC classes as well. I am from NIFT Chennai where AC is a must, and it also has a playground. They used to organise indoor and outdoor competitions in all the NIFT campus' of India.

Faculty: As I'm an engineering graduate and I did my post graduation as a designer, I can say that both the fields are different. In engineering, you can pass an exam by studying overnight, but in NIFT, that's not possible. You have to present your six months work in front of the jury which was tough for me.

Other: We also had entertainment like celebrations of festivals, and the college has a club in which you can join as per your interest. You will see a change in yourself because of the daily preparation in classes. There are too many assignments that are related to your field, and to finish these assignments, you will have to go outdoors. In NIFT, your education isn't complete without going out. Interest matters in any field you choose.
