Review of Bachelor of design in knitwear from the NIFT Chennai.

Faculty: Professors at the NIFT Chennai were highly qualified and knowledgeable. All the teachers were helpful and supportive of the students. Teachers were teaching students all the concepts in an easy way. The course curriculum of the college was relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Exams at the college were not hard to pass.

Review of MFM course from NIFT, Chennai.

Faculty: The curriculum is poor and not up-to-date. The teachers are not aware of the current affair in depth. It does not help to specialize in any specific feed. The faculty didn't let the students leave before the end of college time, even when they didn't have classes. The faculty was not as understanding and was biased.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members and decent placements.

Faculty: The teachers are indeed helpful and qualified, and each student is allotted with one mentor to ensure student well-being. The course was relevant and easy to pass. The faculty members strengthen the support system by giving proper guidance to their mentees.

A college that has a great amount of talent and creativity .

Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified and have great methods of teaching. I personally feel that some changes could be made to the curriculum, but the way of teaching definitely shapes the students in the right manner. Nift does not have examinations, but it has juries, which involves a lot of work to be done. The pass percentage is 50 percent.

I'm satisfied with our college.

Faculty: Teachers in our college have helped throughout the year. No matter what the question is, they're ready to answer a million times. Our course curriculum is not only relevant but also helps you gain a lot of skills. Our college not only teaches you the curriculum but also life skills, which makes you a better person overall.

The pros and cons of NIFT Chennai.

Faculty: Teachers are biased, there is a north India, south India stigma and partiality. Teachers are moody and judgemental. Innovations and ideas are not encouraged in front of aesthetics. It can be disappointing at times bit the college experience is great.

Great infrastructure and facilities, okay faculty members, placements are also okay.

Faculty: With regards to the faculty in the campus I am sad to say that I have a few positive things to say. Like all colleges there are great faculty members and really sad ones. I learnt a lot from all my faculty members in the first year but when I reached my parent department there were only three to four faculty members who I found very knowledgeable in the subject matter. There are great guest lecturers who come to visit though. Throughout our course we were taken for industry visits and craft and ...

I was quite satisfied with my college environment facilities, faculty members were nice.

Faculty: Our faculty members were knowledgeable, qualified, helpful, as well as full of surprises regarding types of assignment were given by them and they are always ready to share extra knowledge. Teaching quality was excellent, fun and entertaining some time. There were subjects which made our studies full of excitements and made us feel to learn a bit more about the topics brought up to us in each classes. Teaching methods were many like taking us to industrial visits, fashion shows, exhibitions, pho...

Best learning with best environment.

Faculty: Because of this course I can apply anywhere in fashion industry. There is no restriction as in the other courses having. Faculty members are so strict here not that much of friendly but they are so motivating, only because of their strictness today I get the success in my line and much more to go.

An outstanding campus architecture and exciting college crowd as well as diverse atmosphere.

Faculty: The faculty are professional in conduct. Weekly, classroom conduct meets take place, which helps to improve the course and staff approach as well. The course includes leather bags, jewellery, furniture as well as other material explorations and a craft cluster study. The resources have to be sourced from outside and are not provided by the college.

A different experience filled with enjoyment with the locals and made a lot of friends.

Faculty: As I'm an engineering graduate and I did my post graduation as a designer, I can say that both the fields are different. In engineering, you can pass an exam by studying overnight, but in NIFT, that's not possible. You have to present your six months work in front of the jury which was tough for me.

NIFT Chennai is the best and it will always be.

Faculty: The faculty members are hard working they even work on Saturdays. They make us work on weekends too to get the full benefit of our course and also our money which we put in to get fashion education from the top fashion colleges of India. Mainly our course is process-based so we mainly play with fabric and some other materials from which we can make our products. We often visit the industry to see what latest designs are there, what are they up to and how to give a finishing like them.

NIFT, Chennai one of the best centers to do your fashion degree as the standard of education they offer is enhanced by experienced professors from the design and garment industries. Chennai being a metro is again one of the reasons you should pursue your education here as you will come in touch with various cultural and social events in the city which in turn help you knowing about the various cultural, artistic value ...
