I'm satisfied with our college.

Placements: Around 3 seniors from our college got placement for 25 LPA recently. That means B.FTech specifically has good placements at NIFT. Some of the other department seniors got placed at good companies in Noida and Delhi. Internships in our college are also great, and they are according to your grades and skills. Try gaining extra skills too.

Infrastructure: I love our hostel, it's perfectly maintained and has great food with transportation as well. The staff are caring and the wardens are also very responsible. The campus is also very well maintained, and everything is very aesthetic. You can look at your college from a different angle every day.

Faculty: Teachers in our college have helped throughout the year. No matter what the question is, they're ready to answer a million times. Our course curriculum is not only relevant but also helps you gain a lot of skills. Our college not only teaches you the curriculum but also life skills, which makes you a better person overall.

Other: I chose this course as I have an equal interest in fashion and technology, and this field is a perfect match for the same. Recently we had an interdepartmental fest which was organised on a good scale. You will find a no-judgement crowd in our college, from teachers to helpers.

Other: Pros : 1. Awesome Infrastructure 2. Located in heart of Chennai. 3. Experienced and friendly faculty. 4. Advanced and analytical methods of teaching. 5. Practical Classes > Theory Classes. 6. Passing semester exams is very easy. 7. No use of Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. 8. Anti-Ragging Campus. 9. Friendly Senior - Junior - Alumni relation. 10. Bollywood/Tollywood movie shooting on the campus. 11. Many fashion shows events on the campus. 12. Opportunity to be a model. 13. Internship and placement in renowned companies. 14. Opportunity to study in renowned foreign colleges under "NIFT exchange program" 15. Option to change the NIFT center on a temporary basis for one sem/year under "NIFT ICTT Program" 16. Option to change the NIFT center on a permanent basis under "NIFT SPT Policy" 17. Well connected to shopping malls, theatres, railway station and airport. 18. Flats and PGs are easily available nearby college. 19. Dominos, McD, KFC, Pizza Hut, Saravana Bhawan, Cafe coffee Day, Punjabi Tadka, Vodafone and Airtel outlets, Recharge Pub, gym, medical stores and many other general stores in Ascendas IT Park which is 200 meters from the college. Cons : 1. Relative marking CGPA system. 2. Canteen food. 3. If a candidate fails even in a single subject, he will have to repeat the whole semester next year. 4. Expensive accommodation. 5. The tuition fee is very high. 6. The expense for assignments and projects, the jury are high. 7. No holiday and celebrations for North Indian festivals. 8. Weak Wifi connectivity in the campus. 9. Not enough space for outdoor games.
