Review of MFM course from NIFT, Chennai.

Placements: Most of the students had to find internships and job opportunities themselves. The college does not actively work towards finding a good opportunity for growth and practical learning for the students. The highest average package offered was 6.5 LPA. Most of the companies come for merchandising roles.

A college that has a great amount of talent and creativity .

Placements: The percentage of students placed is between 60 and 70 percent. The highest package goes up to INR 600000 per year, and the lowest is around INR 200000 per year. I'm satisfied with our college.

Placements: Around 3 seniors from our college got placement for 25 LPA recently. That means B.FTech specifically has good placements at NIFT. Some of the other department seniors got placed at good companies in Noida and Delhi. Internships in our college are also great, and they are according to your grades and skills. Try gaining extra skills too.

The pros and cons of NIFT Chennai.

Placements: Placement is fairly good. Almost 90% in accessory design. It depends on the student's caliber and portfolio rather than grades. Some of the courses struggle in placements but a good portfolio really helps. Companies are not very high paying initially. Maximum average packages are around 4.5 to 5 LPA.

Great infrastructure and facilities, okay faculty members, placements are also okay.

Placements: Students apply for placements towards the end of the final semester. They can register for placements in as many nift campuses as they want and the companies will vary with each campus. Your portfolio will decide what kind of company you get. One must be alert in placements or they could end up in what is basically a salesperson job. The average placement packages ranges from 3-4 Lacs pa. With regards to internship it is advisable to look for your own company to intern at according to the kind o...

Scholarship is given by the government, not by a college. There is no criteria for scholarship based on CAT/GAT marks.
