Overall, the review of National Institute of Fashion Technology, Jodhpur.
Placements: The placements for this course are good, and on an average, the salary ranges from 6.5 LPA to 10 LPA. Last year, the highest offer was about 14 LPA, and it depends on personal skills, talent, and CGPA. The highest pointer grade is the higher preference of the companies.
Infrastructure: The area of the campus is of 20-acres with all the technology-enabled facilities. Furnished campus premises includes a dining hall, girls hostel, boys hostel, staff quarters, playgrounds, library, computer lab, mechanical lab, sewing lab, classes, coffee centre, etc.
Faculty: The course curriculum includes all the subjects of basic fashion and fabric knowledge, adding with management subjects such as organisational behaviour, consumer behaviour, fabric knowledge for merchandisers, visual merchandising, fashion management, and managerial economics.
Other: Faculty members are friendly, but the work processing is quite slow. National Institute of Fashion Technology, Jodhpur also has students of Srinagar because of the closure of Srinagar centre. Rest everything is very good, and the hostel food is also good.

MFM at National Institute of Fashion Technology, Jodhpur
Placements: NIFT is an excellent platform for boys/girls seeking a career in the fashion retail industry. It is primarily designed for filling up mid-level positions of modern fashion retail and e-commerce marketplaces. Placements are average but a lot depends on the candidate. But everyone will get a job due to the strong brand name of NIFT. The average packages would be around Rs. 4 lakhs. You have got be smart during semester scoring, learning basic tools on your own with industry insight and finally, during placements. Afterwards, your industry performance decides the height and success you are going to achieve. It is a good value for money.
Infrastructure: The campus is big and has all the state of the art facilities including separate hostels for boys and girls, a cafeteria, a design studio, a gym, a library, a playground with indoor and outdoor games, an auditorium, Wi-Fi and spacious classrooms. The college is also subscribed to various online libraries, and usernames and passwords are given to students to browse and explore.
Faculty: Faculty members are really a matter of concern but management students are supposed to manage things on your own with resources available resources and groups and peers. The course has four semesters. Out of that, the first 3 is classroom-based apart from summer internship of 2 months after the end of the 2nd semester. Rest of the time, the management papers are taught and terminal exams take place. 4th semester is completely industry-based assignment termed as GP i.e. Graduation Project where students are supposed to undertake live industry project of his/her area of interest. This part becomes little challenging since NIFT has a limited capacity to avail projects directly to students and help them with projects despite having a huge pool of alumni. So, a little fishing is required to get a good GP during this course.
Other: The fee is reasonable with a balanced campus life. There are a couple of annual fests named as Spectrum and Converge which are organized. Spectrum is campus-level and for 3 days where students plan and organize an entire activity. Invitations are sent to other institutions where they showcase and compete as a part of various quizzes, sports activities, fashion shows, debates and other planned activities. Converge is a centralized event and usually hosted by one of the NIFT centres across India and rest centres gather and gel well. Normally, all sort of activities are planned during this event and one centers competes with other centers. Winners are rewarded and certified during this. This binds and unites NIFT students in large.

No, 7K rank is not a good rank for NIFT Jodhpur admissions if you belong to the General AI category. This category had the cutoff ranging between 242 and 2636

However, if you belong to the SC or ST All India quota, a rank of 7000 could get you admission to a few courses. For the SC AI category, ad
