NIPER JEE Exam Pattern 2026

The authority has released the NIPER JEE 2026 exam pattern online. Candidates can check the exam pattern of NIPER JEE 2026 to know the structure of question paper. There will be 200 questions in the NIPER JEE question paper. Each question will carry +0.5 marks. Negative marking is done for wrong answers. -0.125 mark will be minus for wrong answers. The exam duration is 150 minutes.

No, the NIPER JEE question paper will have objective type questions only. The candidates will be served with Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) out of which candidates have to choose one option.

The no. of questions are same in all sets of the NIPER JEE question paper, however the order of the sections and questions may vary from set to set. In order to reduce the scope of malpractice during the exam, variation in the order of the sections and questions was introduced. To ensure normalisation, some questions can be absolutely different in other sets while keeping the difficulty level similar in all the sets.

Q:   What is the weightage of each section in NIPER JEE exam?

NIPER does not allot any sectional weightage to the question paper. Each question carries 4 marks, and if an incorrect choice is selected -1 gets deducted. Therefore, the exam takers must not focus on sectional weightage and consider the exam as a whole and attempt it accordingly.  Overall there will be 200 questions in the exam.
