Good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: Our course, Bachelor of Computer Applications, only gets placed every year with the highest package than any of the other courses in our college. Companies like Cognizant, Infosys, and many more companies come to interview and students get placed with good salaries.
Infrastructure: The faculty, the canteen, Wi-Fi, labs, and library are up to mark. There is no complaint about the quality of the education given in this college, New Horizons Kasthurinagar. The best college I've found, and the facilities are really friendly. They treat us like friends.
Faculty: Our teachers and facilities are very friendly. They help us to cover the topics very well. They make us understand very clearly and help us to learn by watching videos, which we understand much better than any other books, which makes us understand very well.
Other: I chose this course as it was my wish.

Think twice before applying .
Placements: The placements are pretty bad, no proper placement training is given. Only 45 percent were placed and the roles offered were associates, assistant and junior engineers. The top recruiters were tcs, wipro, dxc, mu sigma, Infosys, ADP, etc. The internship was least, only 2 students were recruited for internship.
Infrastructure: The food is average and out sourced. The infrastructure is very poor they don't provide any Wi-Fi facility to the students, it has very small campus n the auditorium is used as indoor badminton court too, library is pretty decent. Over all the college infrastructure is average .
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and provide good support to students in the curriculum. Remedial classes are conducted for the below average performing students. The course is decent enough too make us industry ready. The curriculum is easy to clear the pass percentage is about 98.

I am satisfied with the friends.
Placements: Placements are tough to get selected. Everyone is allowed to take part but only countable students get selected. Companies that offer placements pay very less salary. This eventually lowers the confidence.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are well maintained with proper hygiene. The floor is constantly being cleaned. There is no Wi-Fi for the students. Classrooms are well ventilated and cleaned. The food in the canteen is tasty and valuable for money.
Faculty: Teachers are very strict. It's for the welfare of students but still, they must have values and social responsibility to understand the needs and wants of the students. Teaching is good and exams are conducted regularly. No issues education-wise.
Other: I chose this course to pursue further in related topics.

Placements: The placement is very bad. Approximately only about 30 percent were placed. Companies that recruited were DCX TECHNOLOGY, SAP, CAP GEMINI, TCS. The internship percent was less than 5%
The roles offered were associates and assistant software engineers .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very poor and small. College doesn't even provide Wi-Fi facility for student. Classrooms and library are decent. There is no hostel facility. The campus is very small and it's a shared campus between PUC and degree. There is small medical.
Faculty: The teachers are average. Lot of times there are no teacher to teach the subject. The course pretty decent and okay. The semester is easy to clear the pass percentage is very high about 90% clear the degree at ease. Doesn't provide a industrial visit or exposure. Only workshops are conducted.
Other: The college management is very stingy. 2 main cultural festival sargam and strang. Also has a NSS, Leo club. The extracurricular can be improved. The clubs should be more active .

Review of New Horizon College Kasturinagar - NHC Kasturi Nagar.
Placements: Around 15% of students are placed. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Capgemini, SAP, TCS are some of the top recruiters. Around 2% of students get internships. Associate, assistant, and service desk employees are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good, and the campus is small. The ground is not good, and the college does not share any Wi-Fi or internet support with students. The quality of drinking water is not good, tiny benches, shared campus with PUC. The canteen has worse food with high prices. The auditorium is also not good.
Faculty: Faculty members are not properly interviewed before appointing, seen more teachers drop out from the college than the number of students. There is no proper management of classes, and the teaching skills are not good. The curriculum is very easy to clear. The papers are very easy to attend. The pass percentage is 96%.
Other: The college management is completely money-minded and money orientated. The only best part of being a part of this college is the cultural fest Sargam.

I had a lot of expectations about the college, but they were ruined due to COVID-19.
Placements: About 75% of students from our college were placed in good companies. So far, the highest salary package offered to my fellow collegemates has been 3.5 LPA. Deloitte, Infosys, IBM, Wipro, etc., visit here. About 30%-40% of students got internships from various companies that have been visiting our campus. Software engineer, data analyst, software debugger, etc., roles are offered here.
Infrastructure: New Horizon College has good infrastructure and facilities, which students really like. The college has a digital library which is something unique. Our college has some very good facilities for sports like badminton, basketball, volleyball, etc.
Faculty: The teachers here are knowledgeable and friendly. They do not compromise in their quality of teaching, and we can easily approach the teachers at any time for doubts. The course makes students industry-ready by training them properly in a qualified manner. The difficulty of exams is moderate as the papers are set by Bangalore North University.
Other: I chose BCA because it saves time as it is a 3-year course, and the subjects are the same as in engineering. I suggest our college to give us a little more time before conducting internal exams, and other than that everything seems to be good. New Horizon College organises a fest named Sargam every year, which is one of the best college fests organised in Bangalore. Famous music artists from Bollywood perform in Sargam every year. Many students take part in various competitions held in Sargam, which seems to be fun.

Satisfied because of placements.
Placements: 10% of students got placed. The lowest package offered was 1.50 LPA, and the highest package was 3 LPA. Infosys, TCS, SAP, Mphasis, IBM. etc., came here. 2% of students got internships. Associate engineer roles are offered. Many companies will come here in future. We have a separate HRD department for placement training.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel on campus, but it will be good if we have one. Labs and classrooms are good and spacious. We have Wi-Fi in our college. Overall, it has a good infrastructure. We have sports in our college. Competitions are conducted for students.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and well qualified. They have at least 2 to 3 degrees, and the teaching quality is really good. Semester exams are a bit tough but manageable. The pass percentage in 2020 was around 95%.
Other: Good placements are provided on campus. Events, fests, campus crowd and surroundings are good.

Our college has good placement opportunities for the students of all courses here.
Placements: Almost 80% of the students got placed except for the ones holding backlogs. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 23,000 to Rs. 28,000 per month. Students are also opting for further higher studies. Top recruiters are SAP, Infosys, IBM (Kyndryl), Capgemini, etc. Almost many students receive internships.
Infrastructure: College provides excellent infrastructure with free college labs and Wi-Fi. Classrooms are clean and projectors are available. Library facilities are available including a digital library with books. There is a good canteen facility with extra counters for snacks and juice cafes. They also provide facilities for volleyball, football, basketball, as well as for games like table tennis, carrom, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and are well qualified with master's degrees and PhDs. The quality of teaching is excellent provided with notes and extra study materials. The course curriculum is relevant since BCA plays major role. Semester exams are easy, and the passing percentage would be around 97%.
Other: I chose BCA since it is fully based on computers coding, Java, Python, and C+ with multi-database like SQL. If extra courses are added it could be helpful in the future. Hindi Diwas is celebrated. Events take place like singing, dancing, fashion show, rangoli, and other ethnic days are held. We also have Sathrang fest and Sargam fests.
