MCA is a two-year course divided into four semesters. NMIT Bangalore provides admission to MCA courses based on entrance exam scores.
Admission to MCA is offered under Management and PGCET Quota. For the MCA course, 50% of the total student intake will be filled through Karnataka PGCET and the rest 50% is filled through KMAT/ Karnataka PGCET (Management Quota). Admissions to PG Management Category will be through a first-come-first-serve basis provided the student meets the minimum eligibility criteria mentioned in the website. No, NITTE is a university, whereas the NMIT is the college under it. Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology Bengaluru Karnataka has been approved by the AICTE and is a constituent college of Nitte (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru. Hence, one is a university and the other one is its college.
