Good college, but attendance is so important, and it should be more than 85 percent.
Placements: 70 percent of the students are placed in my branch. The highest package is 60 LPA, and the average package is 16 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Oracle and Nvidia. 50 percent of students got internships from Amazon, Microsoft, and others. Roles offered are web developers, data scientists, backend developers, and others.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure and free Wi-Fi, along with 3 libraries available and good labs with equipments and the classrooms are clean. The hostel facility is great, and there is no complaint regarding the hostel. The food is great and good for both North and South people. They provide free medicine and take us to the hospital anytime, free of cost. The college has a big basketball court, a football court, a badminton court, a running area, and a cricket stadium for the students.
Faculty: Teachers are so supportive, qualified, and they teach us well. They provide us with assignments and clarify our doubts instantly. From the second year onwards, they give us experience in attending and facing the interviews. So it makes us industry-ready. The semester exams are a bit difficult, and the pass percentage is 85%.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in technology. They are giving us real time experience by conducting hackathons and coding events. I wish there were no lab records in the labs because I feel they are time-consuming and not worth our time. Anadhyantha is our college fest which will last for 3 days, and we experience the last on those days. Also, lots of events will be happening on a weekly basis, held by college clubs. There are scholarships for students who score well in NUCAT exam.

Absolutely good for the masters.
Placements: Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd semester. Companies such as Atkins, Brigade, and Shoba visited the college. The highest package offered is 7 LPA. About 70 percent of students got placed. I plan to do a Ph.D. after this. The college provides internship opportunities. Stipends vary, with some being unpaid. Projects include various attributes, helping students gain hands-on experience and industry exposure from time to time as well.
Infrastructure: NMIT provides on-campus hostels for both boys and girls with 1689 capacity. Twin-sharing rooms are available for 1st year students. Second year onwards, boys may opt for twin-sharing or four-sharing rooms. Wi-Fi all over the campus with CCTV security. Computer labs are spacious and have a good number of PCs. Classrooms are spacious and digitally updated, and also air-conditioned. The library is good, and open till 12:00 AM.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio in my college is decent, ensuring that students get enough attention. Most of the professors are approachable and willing to help if you put in the effort to interact with them. There are two semesters in the first year. In the second year, there are presentations, journal club, research work, etc.

It is a very expensive college, but in Bangalore, it is common.
Placements: Coming to the campus placements, the placements have been going on for almost 4 months, and the majority of my friends have been placed. To be honest, they have multiple offers. Each person has gotten a minimum offer of 4 LPA, and the big companies are ready to come, so coming to the placements, they are really good.
Infrastructure: On campus, international students live in the hostel. All the students are helpful and belong to other parts of the world and the country. Mostly, 5:2 boys to girls live in the hostel campus, and there is equal respect for all. We celebrate all important functions on the hostel campus together. Classrooms are spacious and digitally updated. The hostel is good, and their mess is super. I'm sure you won't get better food at home than in the hostel.
Faculty: To be honest, the course I am pursuing is nothing new, and when it comes to relevance, the teaching staff is doing everything they can to give us more internships or call industry persons to do some seminars, so we are up to date on the industry trends and not just studying what's in the book. For the most part, the faculty is really chill and relaxed. They are extremely cooperative. The non-teaching staff are also very chill.

Please do some serious study and aim for IIT.
Placements: Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd sem. Companies such as Atkins Brigade and Shoba visited the college. The highest package offered was 7LPA. 70 Percent of students got placed. I plan to do a Ph.D. after this. There were internships provided by TCS Wipro and many companies.
Infrastructure: The library was vast with lots of books available. The classroom had projectors. We had a huge ground for sports. Clubs such as theatre club fashion club etc. Hostels were good they were mostly two seated. Mess food was average. Wi-Fi was all over the campus. There were cricket grounds volleyball court and many other grounds present.
Faculty: Faculty members were good and they taught very nicely. They start from basics and teach you in detail. They were highly experienced and very friendly and they always try their best to solve our problems. They conduct regular tests and exams. There were two semesters in a year and each semester had two sessions which were conducted by the college. The course curriculum was well structure and relevant covering the key concepts with practical applications. It prepares students for real world challenges but could include more hands on training.

I’m fortunate to be part of this institution.
Placements: About 40% of students are placed as of now. 15 LPA is the highest and 6 LPA is the lowest. Some Japanese companies, Oracle, Rabbit AI, Capgemini, and Accenture are the top recruiters. About internships, I don't have any idea. Roles offered are AI analyst, assistant engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms come with LED screens, a projector, and Wi-Fi. Hostels are provided with all the amenities, but students have to compromise with food. I’m a day scholar but have friends in the hostel who give mixed reviews about the hostel facilities. They have 24/7 medical support.
Faculty: The teaching is top, with well-qualified lecturers, many lecturers are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is updated as per the 2020 syllabus. Many subjects are related to current technological developments. Exams are pretty complex and easy by the way. The pass percentage is high.
Other: I got this course based on my DCET rank. Not everything is perfect in the course or college, but the college vibe is different, green everywhere, stress-free. Often, there are cultural activities going on, and yearly a grand college festival is arranged.

We have good faculty and placements.
Placements: More than 90% of students are placed in our course. The highest package is 8 LPA. The lowest is 4 LPA. The average package is around 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Microsoft and TCS. Around 80% of students receive internship opportunities. The top roles offered are HR and Manager positions.
Infrastructure: The department facilities are good, and the overall infrastructure is also good. We have Wi-Fi in every classroom within the department. The library facilities are also good. The hostel is good with decent food. Rooms and washrooms are also good. There is also a ground in front of the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly, good at teaching, and well-qualified with subject knowledge. The curriculum is relevant and helps make students industry-ready. Exams can be difficult, but they are manageable. Sometimes the exams are easy as well, and a question bank is provided. The teachers are very helpful.

The highest rank acceptable in 2024 was 2206 for the General AI category. So, students who have a rank below 2206 have a better chance of admission in the MBA/PGDM course. Students should know that the cutoff for other categories will vary.

Note: Cut- off data is an estimate and not official.

Seats are allocated on the basis of merit scores of last qualifying exam. All candidates have to fill an application form on the official website of institute. The institute shortlists students on the basis of merit scores. Selected students have to pay some fee to confirm their admissions.
