NMIT Bangalore MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2026
Admission to MTech is offered under Management and PGCET Quota. For the MTech course, 80% of the total student intake will be filled through Karnataka PGCET and the rest 20% is filled through GATE/ Karnataka PGCET (Management Quota). Total annual fee: INR 4.50 lakh (MTech Structural Engineering), INR 5 lakh (MTech Data Science), INR 4 lakh for rest of the MTech specialisations

NMIT Bangalore M.Tech admission is entrance based. Candidates who have a BTech or BE qualification with minimum 50% aggregate (candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ ST and Category-1 must obtain at least 45% aggregate) in the qualifying examination can apply for admission in the M.Tech programme. Further, candidates must appear for Karnataka PGCET or GATE (for admission through the management quota).
NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology M.Tech admissions are on the basis of BE/ BTech qualification in relevant subjects with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category-1). Candidates must qualify NUCAT, which is conducted by the NITTE University for admission to all the UG and PG programmes. NUCAT is a multiple-choice test of 120 minutes comprising 120 questions. The test is conducted in online mode. Candidates must qualify the eligibility criteria and secure the suggested aggregate to seek admission.

The NMIT Bangalore MTech course admissions are conducted in online mode. The admissions are decided on entrance basis. The NMIT Bangalore admissions for the MTech course requires candidates to clear the CET entrance exam. The NMIT Bangalore application fee is INR 1,000 for every MTech course.
