NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology M.Tech admissions are on the basis of BE/ BTech qualification in relevant subjects with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category-1). Candidates must qualify NUCAT, which is conducted by the NITTE University for admission to all the UG and PG programmes. NUCAT is a multiple-choice test of 120 minutes comprising 120 questions. The test is conducted in online mode. Candidates must qualify the eligibility criteria and secure the suggested aggregate to seek admission.

NMIT Bangalore M.Tech admission is entrance based. Candidates who have a BTech or BE qualification with minimum 50% aggregate (candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ ST and Category-1 must obtain at least 45% aggregate) in the qualifying examination can apply for admission in the M.Tech programme. Further, candidates must appear for Karnataka PGCET or GATE (for admission through the management quota).

The seat intake for the M.Tech programme at NMIT Bangalore ranges from 18 to 24 depending upon the specialisation selected by candidates during the time of admission. Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology has a seat intake capacity of 24 for the MTech Structural Engineering course and has 18 seats each for the other specialisations.

NMIT has the seats reserved in its M.Tech programme for candidates who take admission to the programme through different entrance exams and quotas. Additionally, AICTE has also approved 15% extra seats for foreign nationals/ PIO/ NRI students whose parents work in the Gulf countries. Yes, NITTE Meenakshi conducts NUCAT for admission to UG and PG courses. Nitte University Common Admission Test (NUCAT) is conducted in online mode for 120 minutes. Candidates seeking admission in BTech, MTech, MBA, MCA or BSc (Hons) courses at NMIT Bangalore must have a valid score in NUCAT. Aspirants need to participate in counselling and seat allotment with their rank for final admission.

NMIT Bangalore offers four-year full-time BTech programme at the UG level. The course is spread across eight semesters and is available in 11 specialisations. Below are some of the BTech specialisations offered at NMIT:

Nitte Meenakshi application fees for NUCAT is INR 1,000 which is mandatorily need to be paid by candidates to complete the registration process. The application fess is non-refundable and cannot be claimed back by candidates once it is paid. NUCAT is required for admission to any of the UG or PG programmes.
