B.Sc. Economics in NMIMS Bangalore, high level of mathematics.

Placements: NMIMS, Mumbai has one of the best placements across the country which makes it the top management institution for undergraduate level, placements in Goldman Sachs, and banking institutions are common in here. The internships during the summer breaks are also provided.

Infrastructure: The campus is situated on the outskirts of the city. The classrooms and IT labs have all the utilities, and the campus is huge and beautiful. It has a five-star interior with a proper Wi-Fi facility, and the hostel services are also above average. The food might be an issue, but it is fairly okay.

Faculty: B.Sc. economics is the flagship course of NMIMS, the highly diversified curriculum focuses on practicality, high-level mathematics and the teachers are well qualified. If you want to enjoy your college life, this course is not the right direction for you, if you plan to come here.

Decent Infrastructure, horrible exams system, tough-near impossible to survive.

Placements: In my course, due to the low placements, most students prefer to pursue Masters or further opportunities or off campus placements. Average Package actually received would be 4-5 LPA. The highest maybe 7-8 LPA. Internships are rarely provided from college and will have to be found on your own.

Infrastructure: Wi-fi and classrooms were top quality with air-conditioned rooms, CCTV cameras for safety, well maintained furniture and SMART boards are everywhere. Library is expensive and online library as well has good facilities, Bloomberg terminals can also be accessed through library and a few Bloomberg Certificate courses are also available. Hostel rooms are decent, but food is abysmal. Boys hostel especially where the mess is in a basement, darkly lit and bug-infested. Sports and Games is getting improvements now with new courts, game room with foosball tables, pool tables etc.

Faculty: Teachers are same as any college, you can get good ones and bad ones both but in my experience, they are all quite knowledgeable in their fields. How helpful they are depends from person to person but in general, good experience with teachers other than a few. Course curriculum is decent, very detailed and vast and you will be learning multiple disciplines, especially in economics. Exams system is horrible. Pass percentage is dismally low and the exams are horribly difficult. Even if not, marking system is so tough that sitting through re exams is a completely normal thing.

Other: Events and fests are few and small, don't expect much of campus life, connectivity, fests from this college. It is a very academically intensive college to the point where you will be too busy to even notice all the things you are missing. Exams system could be improved. Admin when it comes to exams is very cruel and will fails students by 1 or 2 marks just because they can. Campus is in the middle of nowhere, almost nothing in the surroundings, outer Bangalore as well as hostel. Extracurricular activities are supbar.
