Flexible degree for self-driven students.
Placements: I pursued B. Com programme through Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board under University of Delhi. It has no formal placement, so placement and package data are not applicable. Students secure off-campus jobs and internships independently in CA firms, finance advisory firms, banks, startups, and NGOs in roles like accounts executive, finance intern, audit assistant, and business development executive.
Infrastructure: Classes are held at DU Women’s College with basic classrooms, library access, and Wi-Fi. There are dedicated lab and hostel facilities. Canteen, sports, and games facilities are also applicable. Students rely largely on University resources as well as personal resources.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and supportive; teaching quality is adequate. Curriculum is conceptually relevant but not fully industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate, pass percentage generally high for regular students. Overall learning depends largely on the student’s own discipline and consistent self-study.
Other: I chose the course for its flexibility, which allows me to prepare for professional finance-related exams alongside graduation. The best aspects are the DU degree, low fees, and manageable academic pressure. Campus life events and extracurricular activities are fabulous. Scholarships follow standard Delhi University norms.
