Placements: In my college, there are around 95 students currently enrolled in the course, and the placement cell continues to put off different job opportunities. There was also an opportunity with an exchange program in Japan with a package of around Rs.15 Lacs being offered to start with, so depending on your will, you will get options.
Infrastructure: The college has lifts and A/C in each room, so you are getting the facilities you are paying for. A big ground with Nescafe, Mother Dairy, and Amul being on the campus; there are good and reasonable options to choose from. Along with that, there is a separate canteen, and the food in the hostel mess also has great reviews.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified but are a little stricter compared to DU. They want complete respect and timely attendance, and they wouldn't give you leaves easily. The curriculum is paced, with minors being conducted two months into the course, and those are also conducted as proper exams, so you do need to keep preparing. The difficulty level depends a lot on preparation and studying beyond the classroom framework.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to get into the teaching line, and a Master's is a good option to get into. Though a Master's in English still doesn't have that many seats in Delhi, so I had to choose IPU, but till now, the experience has been fairly good. Improvement could be more inclusive, and non-bookish studies should be appreciated, with not just attendance being the priority. There are different clubs in the college, but the clubs are fairly new to comment on, and Anugoonj is the biggest fest organized in IPU.

Placement is good and peer group is also very good.
Placements: From the final semester on, students are eligible for placement. Many companies have visited according to the course of the students. The average salary of the company is based on the eligibility of students and starts at INR 15000 per month and it varies according to the course. The students getting placement have at least 55 to 60 percent. My plan is to go for a job.
Infrastructure: The hostels were very nice and were equipped with every facility a student would need. Although the hostel feels were not less, the college provided every amenity. Rooms were given like two people in one room, individual rooms. There were also a lot of PGs around the college who charged $10,000 a month. It was pretty easy to avail of the hostel facility. Hostel Fee: INR 100,000 per year.
Faculty: I chose this course because I wanted to become an assistant professor of English. The faculty members in PSg are well-versed and well-educated. Almost all the faculty members were Ph.D. holders and they gave us a really good experience in the learning process. There were more than 15 faculty members in our department and our class strength was around 52. They also used a lot of new learning techniques and methods. The faculty are also friendly and they give you all the opportunities. Class size;-57

Life is beautiful, conditions apply*.
Placements: There were no campus placements in the university, though there were various internship opportunities availed throughout the course. There is no placement cell for M.A. English students, students go for M.Phil after this and I don't have a particular idea whether they provide any placements for that or not as I am not planning do it.
Infrastructure: University is very beautifully, well maintained clean full of greenery. Classrooms are very spacious. Wi-Fi facility is also available in hostels. Library is one of the most resourceful libraries in Delhi. The canteen serves quality food along with multiple choices and variants in food.
Faculty: Faculty staff of the department is highly qualified and keep an positive attitude towards students and their queries. The course structure is well maintained and faculty members regularly and responsible curriculumise the course. With interesting texts the course includes milti dimensional study basis.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty as well as infrastructure of my college.
Placements: All the placements so far have been really helpful for my batch as well as for the senior batch. Quite a large number of students were placed. I don't have any idea about the salary offered though. Content writing is one of the majorly offered job designations for the students of English department.
Infrastructure: It's not that easy to connect with the internet facility all the times due to the mass usage as the possible reason. Labs, library and classrooms are well-equipped as well as comfortable in terms of electricity and natural light. Sports and games are one of the most sought out arenas in my college. The food in the canteen is quite delicious as well as hygienic and that also at affordable prices. Hostel rooms make us feel no less than our cosy homes.
Faculty: The faculty, whether it is teaching or non-teaching, are very helpful and qualified in their respective fields. 20:1 is probably the student-faculty ratio. They always aspire to get themselves equipped with the latest teaching facilities to make concepts more clear to the students. The course curriculum was really helpful.

The decent infrastructure, helping teachers, but the college can be improved a lot in many aspects.
Placements: I have not taken any placements from this college. But there are not many decent internships available for M.A. English. I wish more efficient placements were done as the students are deserving. I feel that the fee is more but the opportunities offered are less.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-equipped with the air-conditioners. The management is decent. The library is not having the books pertaining to M.A. English. The Wi-Fi facility is not there for the day-scholars. The medical services are fine. There is not much exposure to games and sports, especially for girls. The infrastructure on the campus is good.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and qualified. The course curriculum is different and unique. Although, the teaching methods are not innovative. They are helpful when you seek the assistance. I wish more notes were provided for the studies as we face a lot of problems while preparing for the external examination.
Other: The fest is not that much fun because it is not safe for girls during star night. It is not much such a fun fest for the students.

Good infrastructure and excellent faculty.
Placements: The university provide excellent opportunity for placement in great firms. The course as such is not the one that requires corporate jobs, but the efforts are great. There is although an effective placement cell that ensures internship and job opportunities for candidates.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is very good. The campus surroundings are well cared for and well maintained. There is every facility available around, from Wi-Fi equipped labs to highly functional library, stationary shop, cafeteria, a good basketball, tennis as well as volleyball court and also good medical facilities and medical rooms.
Faculty: The faculty is helpful and efficient. The teachers AIMAT complete development of a person and are ever ready to provide any guidance needed. There are also many seminars organized which invite excellent professors and authors that enhance our understanding of the subject in a nice way.

The college had amazing infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The placements are not up to the mark for our course. It basically provides you with the aspects of becoming a professor and that comes after clearing NET and higher degrees, but there should be some placements for the people who are not interested in higher studies. We did not really get to know about any company for a job or an internship. Till the date, I think not more than 1 or 2 company has arrived.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing. There are facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and everything is up to the mark. Every kind of sports is available, and the library has a good atmosphere with a good collection of books for the students. The quality of food provided in the canteen is also fine. The hostel rooms are also good, and the facilities and food provided at the hostel is also good. I didn't really face any kind of issue related to infrastructure in my college.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good. The teachers are helpful. They engage with the students and force them to get involved in the class activities. They encourage us to attend classes so that we grasp everything from their teachings. They are very qualified hence know about the ways of making a student a better one.

Great faculty, good infrastructure and resources.
Placements: Placement is fine. Various publishing companies come for recruitment for the posts of content writer, editor, proof reader. The average package offered is 3.5 - 4 Lacs. There is no fixed figure of placements as most of the students aspire to clear the NET for lecturership so less students sit for such placements. However, if students are interested in a certain institution they can ask the department authorities to invite that institution as a prospective recruiter.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The campus is big and accommodates separate buildings for different fields of study and hostels. It has a canteen and various other food joints like nescafe, amul. There is a photocopy shop inside the campus too. The classrooms are spacious and well maintained. Library in GGSIPU is well maintained too, there are two floors both with seating areas. The collection for literature is good but it is not very extensive yet. However, every year new and updated books are added. Hostel is clean, well maintained and the mess food is fine.
Faculty: The faculty is very good, experienced and helpful. They are friendly and easy to approach too in case of any query. The course curriculum is interesting and provides different outlooks and knowledge from various fields of literature. It also includes many workshops both in the campus and outside. The faculty organises talks and seminars for its students and encourages their participation too.

Hi, You will be eligible for M.A(Hons.) in English only if you have studied English as one of the subjects in your graduation. Otherwise, you can go for M.A in political science. Best of luck.

Yes, they will conduct the entrance test for M.A in English. The syllabus will be all basic of your B.A course, plus common subjects. Minimum percentage required is 60% only. Prepare well for the entrance.

You can buy any book for the entrance purposes, as different universities have different way of conducting their exams. But still, if you wish to buy something buy Arihant publication book for MA preparation.
